My feet and lower legs are so swollen they HURT. My blood pressure is fine. I'm already off my feet almost all day. What can I do to reduce the swelling?? Any suggestions or thought on what works/worked for you would be greatly appreciated!

The only thing that helped me was having the babies. Sorry. :(

Drink water, keep your feet elevated instead of just off of your feet.

I agree with Bex. My legs and my ankles stayed swollen almost all of my third trimester. I drank lots of water, but staying off of them was the only thing that helped and being a teacher that wasn't always possible.

Water, water, water. I had pre-e so I didn't stop swelling until I delivered but I know a couple of people that had swelling w/o pre-e and they swear by drinking lots of water.

I was in the same miserable boat - and the only relief came after having the babies. Plus a few rounds of Rx diuretic.

Sorry, I know it's just awful. Cankles are the WORST! Actually varicose veins in your girl parts are worse, but not by much.
