Im new here! I have b/g twins , they are three months old , and i just wonder if you swaddle your babies for nap and bed time too ?
It is safe and healthy to do this ? Im really worry about it , because I've been swaddle them for bed time but now they're starting to need it for naps too.

ah, I am the same way.
Right now I'm working on just wrapping them in a blanket with arms out for naps, but we still fully swaddle for bedtime. Eventually we will work on one arm out, then two arms out, then move into sleep sacks for bedtime.

I think its perfectly fine...honestly I just get tired of reswaddling them during the day...but at night we use swaddle me's. And I like to give them a little more "breathing" room during the day so they can stretch their arms and legs a little more.

At 3 months ours were still swaddled for most of the day...they'd have some time out of the swaddle for tummy time/ play time (kicking of legs) but they were swaddled for nap time and bed time.

    Welcome to TS!!

I swaddled my girls until they were about 5 months old, at which time they were able to break out of them and it was impossible to keep them swaddled. We swaddled for both nap time and bedtime. If that's what it takes to get them to sleep, I would definitely keep doing it!

    Hello and :welcome:

Yes! I swaddled my girls just about all the time for the first couple of months! The more you can get them sleep during the day the more they'll sleep at night, swaddle to your heart's content!!

My boys needed swaddling for naps and bedtime for several months. I think Jacob stopped needing it around 6 months, and Jackson held on until 9 months. We asked the pedi about it and she said it was fine and healthy-- and they will eventually grow out of it. If it brings them comfort and helps them sleep, do it! :)

Yes, we swaddle at naps and night time. We use Miracle Blankets, they are the best at keeping them from sqirming out :D

I still swaddle Ellie for naps and bedtime. She won't sleep without it. She goes down so easily if she's swaddled. Abby can suck her thumb, so she prefers not to be swaddled. I also use Miracle Blankets with sleep sacs over them.

Gosh, now I feel like we are doing something wrong! We only swaddle at bedtime - we started doing that when they were very young because we were trying to get them to distinguish between day and night and have just kept doing it - maybe we need to do it for naps too...
