    Nevan is probably a sleep walker (sleep crawler and sitter more than walker) just like Nick and I. Last night I was up until 4 taking out my braids and I looked over at the bed and he would just sit up, rub his eyes and collapse back down, like he fell back asleep and just went forward. Sometimes, he'd wake his sister up and sometimes he's get up to nurse. He was up at least twelve times in the five hours I was in the bathroom. Anyway, I decided today that I would swaddle him hoping he would sleep longer. I swaddled Norah too, just because "Whats good for the goose..." They are passed out! Normally Nevan has sat up a few times by now. How long can I swaddle them? I have their feet out, they are way to big for blankets but if this works I will go out and buy blankets. Oh yeah and can I swaddle my 8 year old too? He gets up way too early in the am! :lol:

    I think it's fine to swaddle anyone anytime! In fact, sometimes I wish my husband would swaddle me up so I could get some nice long, cozy sleep!

    [SIZE=10pt]Hi everyone,
    I'm new to the club, and I just wanted to say that mine are 9 months and I never stopped swaddling, I however I wished I could of stopped it months ago, but they were colicy so I had no other choice, now I just swaddle them to get them to sleep at night and they of course wiggle their way out, but at least it puts them out. I got some receiving blankets from walmart that are big enough for them at an affordale price.

    We "wrap" the boys up too and it was working pretty good for a while. Now at almost 1 year, they kinda stopped liking it again and got out of the blankets. They both like to sleep next to their blankets and on their tummies.

    I say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it! B)

    I keep thinking about starting to swaddle the girls again. Geneva moves around way too much and is starting to wake Gretchyn. I would separate them, but they sleep so much better in the same bed.

    So after about an hour Nevan sat up fully swaddled... he's like Houdini. I'm going to try it again today because he did fall asleep faster but it didn't last too long.
