My DS is fighting the swaddle like crazy lately. The thing is, he needs it b/c his arms wake him up. Any suggestions?

The miracle blanket worked awesome for the first 5 mos. My daughter didn't like to be swaddled either, but she couldn't escape this (until 5 mos), and usually forgot she hated it and would go to sleep (much longer than dhe would without it).

I use the Miracle Blanket too. My DD escapes it most nights but it still works pretty well to get her to sleep. When she escapes and cries, I go in and re-wrap her and she goes right back to sleep.
I've tried a bunch of different blankets, including the Snug & Tug and she is out of those in minutes. Miracle Blanket definitely works best for us.

I would also suggest the miracle blanket. It worked so well for us, we used it for the first 6 months!

Oh how I miss the swaddle days! My boys are 10 months & are from one end of the crib to the other!
I wish I could swaddle them now! ;) When my one son started to fight being swaddle we would only swaddle the bottom half of his body.
We let his arms stay out & he liked that!

I gave up around that time and swaddled them from the waist down. Maybe I've gotten less sleep because of it.

Neither of my boys liked being swaddled. Right from the very begining they would fight it. Maybe it had something to do with them being born during the summer while it was hot. Anyway they both learned to fall back asleep after they woke themselves up. I tried the miracle blankets but they always seemed too hot. I ended up letting them sleep in onesies and very light weight footie pajamas.

I also have had great luck with the Miracle Blanket, both my babies were wiggling out of their regular blankets when I swaddled them and I would be up several times a night re-swaddling, it is much harder to get out of the Miracle Blanket and mine sleep much better when tighly swaddled.
