First off I am so sorry if you have been swarmed with these type of questions.
I just had no where else to go.

    I kind of suspect multiples.
I think my betas fall into both the single and low twin range but unsure (opionions?)
    11dpo - BFP
    15dpo - 168
    21dpo - 1563
    28dpo - 16853

My dd was a twin (3rd pg) but I lost it at 7wks. As well as my moms family is filled with twins! My grandma had twins and my Aunt had twins (3rd pg). My mom stopped at 2. lol. I am just wondering what your guys opionions are on my chances.
I know nothing can be decided over betas and really only an u/s will tell.
I don't get one for another 5.5wks though.

I O normally on my own but Dr put me on 150mg Clomid (days 3-7) to help get me pg.

    Thanks for reading!

I remember wondering about my beta's too. Mine were more than tripling in like 17 hrs. HTH

12 dpo mine was 197. The nurses said at that time that most twin pg's were over 200, but the dr. said I could be carrying two with that high of a number. The numbers don't necessarily indicate a multiple pg. The sure way to know is an ultrasound. Let us know if they find two!!

I think my numbers were 440 at 15 dpo and 4100 at 20 dpo. But you are right, the numbers don't tell the whole story so you certainly could have twins. Let us know!

 Congratulations on your pregnancy!

    I agree with the previous posters, beta numbers don't show much, other then a pregnancy. For what it's worth, my number at 14dpo was 330 and at 16dpo it was at 900. And my doctor wouldn't even suggest a twin pregnancy until I got an u/s, just so I wouldn't get my hopes up. {I did ask, btw :blush:}

Good Luck and keep us updated! :)

I think your betas are a little high for a singleton, but pretty low for twins. Here's a great reference website, with a chart for twin pregnancy betas: betabase.com's twin chart

Usually the doubling time is a better indicator, though. If you google for "beta calculator" there are a lot of sites out there where you can enter the dates and beta numbers and it will tell you how fast they're doubling. I just entered your numbers into one and it says your doubling time was 1.86 days and 2.06 days. Those are average times for singletons. You never know, could be twins, but chances are very good that you have one strong healthy baby in there. :) Congrats!

I never suspected twins when I had an initial beta of 155 at 14 dpo...so you never know(and I knew my O date within a day or two as I was using the fertility monitor at the time)!
