SURPRISE PREGNANCY (baby #3 is on the way)!

Hi everyone, I know I don't post on here very often but I do read everyone's posts all the time.... Anyway, a little background info:

We were ttc a baby close to 5 years and finally after tons of infertility treatments and IVF we conceived our precious B/G duo. They will be 2yrs old in a few weeks and I just found out about a week ago that we are expecting baby #3. This was a TOTAL SHOCK!!! We were done having children, felt blessed and complete with Boy/Girl twins and definitely weren't TTC. We didn't really prevent all that much the last few mths because we really thought there wasn't any chance of pregnancy after yrs of infertility (MFI + me with pcos)!! Well I am now 5wks preggos lol!!!

We were extremely SCARED and SHOCKED at first but now we are very EXCITED and welcoming our new addition with open arms..... Our little MIRACLE!!

My 1st u/s is booked for Dec 7th..... I'm a triplet and multiples run rampant on my moms side of the family so I know twins again is a little higher than average.... Hoping for one Healthy little sticky bean but I guess whatever it is it is lol!!

 

WOW, Congratulations! That is SO exciting!! You must have been so shocked! I bet you can't wait until the US to see whats going on in there

Congratulations! I was in the same boat except we were about a month away from starting a FET when I got pregnant on the weekend that my twins turned 2. It's a great age difference! I hope you have a great pregnancy!

Congrats!!!! How very exciting! I hear of this so often I almost wonder if having the original hard to conceive baby(ies) resets the clock to to speak and paves way for more! Whatever it is it is awesome!! Let us know how the u/s goes!

 

Congrats!!!!!!!!!! We did IVF too so I know the heartache of trying for years. My Dr. had told me to watch out for "suprises" after having our twins. I thought he was silly after all the years of no luck, but I guess you are proof. Keep us posted

 

Congratulations!! We, to, had years of trying and infertility treatments before our IVF miracle girls, and then, out of the blue, while ON THE PILL thank you very much, I started to feel really overtired and nauseous....yep, you guessed it....pregnant! :woah: After the initial shock & panic we are delighted & I am 6 months along now, with a little boy due in February - sometime, no-one really knows when!! . I must say, it is exhausting chasing after twin two year olds while pregnant & I am still working part time (I teach at a local university), but is is wonderful. I'm not sure how we are going to swing all of it financially, but eventually I'll return to full time work & we'll dig ourselves out of the hole!!

And my darling DH, after nearly driving into oncoming traffic when I told him our news, is totally excited, supportive...and getting a vasectomy for christmas!!! :laughing:
