Jackson is having both of his tear ducts opened up tomorrow morning. The procedure itself only lasts about 15 minutes. It shouldn't be a big deal, but they do have to put him under for the procedure itself. I am so nervous about having him put under. Every parent is nervous about this kind of thing, I am sure! However, we only know a little bit about the other half of his genetic makeup because he was conceived via a sperm donor. So, I have no clue if any of his genetic relatives/ancestors have a history of anesthesia intolerance. I am sure he will be fine, but I'm just nervous and doing that terrible irrational nervous mom thinking! I am not much of a crier, but I think I might cry after I hand him over tomorrow morning! :cray:

Yep, the hardest part is handing them over. My DD had a blocked tear duct removed and everything went smoothly. I am sure he will be fine. Hang in there. :hug99:

My little Kerry also had this done - I swear for her it was easier than getting her immunizations. Not so easy for mommy!

    All my best,
    Mia

    Hi Erin,

My Jackson is having his done in July. I have heard it is no big deal once it is done with. I can totally understand your worries. Please let us know how it goes and feel free to pm me if you think there is something I should know before we get ours done.

    Hugs,
    Amy

My boys both went through surgeries for inguinal hernias last summer and it was absolutely nerve-wracking, so I know what you're going through! It was so much worse on DH and I than it was on them, they recovered so quickly.

Hope everything went well for your little guy!
