My girls are really starting to get around lately, they are getting very close to crawling and will get from one side of the room to the other in seconds with scooting. So Im looking into these...anyone have one?? Is it worth the money?? TIA!

My boys are 9 months and my aunt gave me one for christmas and I have put them in a total 5 x's they HATE it , my husband just used my daughters old crib cut to the size we needed and made a gate from the den to the kitchen, that has been my life saver... My den is babie and toddler proof, (I think) so in my case for the home I have to give it a thumbs down. If you are going to get one go to ta second consignment store. that way if it does not work you wont feel so guilty. sorry for such a long vent. I have not been on in a while.

I say it is definitely worth it. Sometimes you just need someplace to put them, and especially once they outgrow the exersaucer or jumperoo or whatever, your options are pretty limited. We do let them roam around the house a lot, but they seem content to be in "the pen" for 15-20 minutes after breakfast, which gives DH and me a chance to clean up and drink our coffee. I also will sometimes get in there with them, which they like.

We got one plus the extension. I think without the extension, it is too small and they will feel like they are in jail, plus they will be constantly tripping over each other and their toys. (Even with the extension, I have to be careful about this -- toys will migrate in there and before you know it, the babies don't have anywhere to sit. We got two of the little playzones instead of the superyard and the boys love being in them - what we like is that they are really sturdy and by getting two we got two entertainment sides (they have a music pad which plays different songs, a play phone, things to turn and twist - it's a whole entertainment center) so they each have one and the whole thing together is probably 8' a side if you make a big square - plenty of room for two little guys to get around! FYI it's on amazon.

Not worth it for us as far as using it as a playyard, but we waited a little late to get it, IMO. We actually took it apart and use it as a gate across a wide opening from our kitchen to living room. Other than using it that way, they hated being in it very long. The first month they were fine, and then they learned to pull up and hated being in it.

It was a good buy for us and the resale value on Ebay is pretty good too. Just keep the boxes. I bought the 6 piece and then the 2 piece extension and I actually split it in 3 parts and use it at grandmas in areas that I don't want the girls- I got mine online at walmart for I think a total of $82 and that included the extension. I think on things that you can buy new or used and still resell at a good price is worth it- you don't lose much that way if it doesn't work for you.

We LOVE ours! I just bought two used ones (I hook them together) from a girl in my multiples group and it's great. The boys love being able to play with their toys and eachother without Mommy chasing after them to stay away from the fireplace, etc. It was well worth it!! I paid $40.00 for two...an excellent deal.

I think it's worth it. They did hate it at first until they got used to it, it took a few days. Now I use it to block off the tv and computer and around the fireplace and the glass bookshelf. So basically I use it to keep them out of things rather than keep them confined in one small spot. We bought 2 and one extension.

Mine got a ton of use. It's first job was to cordone off our living room from the rest of the apartment so we could keep the babies contained. As the baby-safe area gradually expanded, the Superyard was used around the house in various configurations to protect certain areas or items. We also used it at the park, at my moms house, at my grandparents, at the hairdressers, when we were baby-sitting my aunt's dog, etc.
