I have it set up in a square (two panels per side) and it wobbles. Does anyone else have this problem and what did you do? It is set up on hardwood.

Yes, we had the same problem with our Summer Infant Secure Surround Playard. What we did was take some thin strips of molding wood (which my dad had laying around his garage) and he cut 3 of them to be the length of the sides of the playard (leaving the side with the door accessible). Then he secured them near the top of the walls with plastic cable ties. It was still a little wobbly even after that so he put 3 more strips of molding around the bottom of the walls. I personally would have just put the first set of molding strips in the middle and maybe that would have been enough, but my dad jumped into action while I was at work one day....anyway, it looks a little Clampette-ish but it gets the job done

Instead of a square make it into an octagon if you can, it helps sturdy it up. The more angles the better ;)

I bought foam squares like this http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2401627 . I had just enough with the alphabet and numbers 0 to 9, a total of 36, to make a complete square 6 x 6 squares. Then I set our superyard (8 panels) on top of it in a square and it stayed steady and didn't slide.

I wish we had enough room to make ours into an octagon. And even though our playard is on a foam mat that didn't prevent "Bulldozer Brandon" from ramming into it and making the joints push way out. So as I mentioned before my dad rigged up some inexpensive pieces of wood and cable ties to make it more sturdy. I really think that just having one set of those wood poles along the middle of the walls would be sufficient, but I'm too lazy (and busy) to fix it now, LOL.
