Super Excited!

I'm sure there is a better forum/thread for this, but I'm super excited. I went to the doc today and I'm 4 cm dilated!!!! :woo: It's the first time I've been checked since like 28 weeks (where I wasn't dilated & didn't want to be!). The doc was so funny- he stressed like 4 times: "If you feel contractions or your water breaks- GO TO THE HOSPITAL!" As it's been a fear of mine forever that I wouldn't make it to the hospital or would give birth at home, he's got a very willing patient :lol: (also, A is breech, B is transverse, so a vag birth isn't in our best interest!) He was pretty annoyed too, that I hadn't been checked yet so there's no comparison. I have been having some yellowish discharge for a week or so- he's like, "because you're 4 cm dilated!"

Anyway. I wonder everyday if I'm going to the First Year forum... I'm really looking forward to it!

Wahoo!! Lucky lady, I am being checked tomorrow and that has been what I've been hoping to hear too. CONGRATS and can't wait to hear that you've had those gorgeous babes!

 

I was 4 cm at 36 and 37 weeks and still made it til my scheduled induction at 38w2d ... I started dialating at week 32 (2 cm), then 3 cm (week 34) ...

 

Yeah! :woohoo: Won't be long! Can't wait to read your birth story!
