I've always liked Water Babies sunscreen and Aveeno too. Good luck.

When mine were in their first year I used the Mustela Sun Screen. It's hypoallergenic. You can get it at most BRU stores.

We use this: http://www.amazon.com/Banana-Boat-Sunblock...e/dp/B000FTYI18 but I don't have anything to compare it to and we haven't been on a loong journey yet. So far so good though. We are all fair-skinned around here [even me for being half Korean ] but the girls mananged not only to Not burn at all, but have gotten far more color than mom and dad combined!

California Baby!!!! Love this stuff...we have used it on the boys(and baby girl) since they were 6 months old and no sun burning when we go to the beach each summer (and it also handles our regular outdoor activities too). Love it! You can find it online and our Target and Wholefoods also carries it.

It depends on how much you want to spend and how paranoid you are about all the chemicals in the sunscreens now - :nea: ...
I can vouch for California Baby and Mustella - both are great - but a bit on the pricey side so I went looking for more affordable options..

Here is a great website that rates most all of the sunscreens out there:

I can vouch for the Neutrogena Sensitive Skin.

But having made the mistake of not requiring a rashguard with my 1st child (now a bikini junkie!) I plan to cover these kiddos with full body rashguards and hats! Florida sun is brutal!

    Have a great "Adventure"! :wavey:

  7. I personally prefer to use Coppertone water babies spray. It's what Ped suggested, and we haven't gone wrong thus far w/it. In fact, we spent almost all last week in the sun. Kids didn't get burned at all!

Huggies also makes stickers that tell you when you need to apply more sunblock. I thought my son would be annoyed by it, he didn't even notice it.

    Good luck to you!

I like Waterbabies. And I love rashguards!

I'm one of those "paranoid" moms. I avoid ingredients that may lead to my boys getting man-boobs at the age of 12 and becoming sterile.

I vote for California Baby, too. I love the EWG Cosmetic Database. I have been trying out the new Neutrogena mentioned above, as well as Avalon Organics. There are a lot of options if you want to go more natural.

I always used water babies stuff with my other two kids so I'll probably use that again this year with the twins.
