Have you seen them anywhere? All of the ones that I find have nothing to hold them on! This will not work with my babies! They are completely bald, and need sun protection for their little heads! Thanks! [IMG]

I just bought 2 sun hats with chin straps at Babies R Us yesterday! They are just plain white...nothing fancy. But, I knew the girls wouldn't keep them on without the straps!

I've seen them at Target, too. I actually saw them & thought they were super cute but thought "when would I use them?" Ha! Twice now I've wished I'd bought them. I have pretty bald babies, and it's such a MESS to rub sunscreen in their hair.

I found some plain ones at Gap Kids...they were really cute.

I bought the girls two of them at walmart when I was in FL. They work great, and they are so cute. They also have matching bathing suit covers.

My Mom recently found some with straps at The Children's Place. They're really cute.

Havent seen any either. but a suggestion. You dont need to be much of a sewer. Just need a needle, thread and some elastic and sew your own chinstraps on. Just measure baby from one ear under chin to other ear and cut a piece of elastic maybe 1/2 inch shorter. Attach each end to inside of the hat. If too loose you can adjust til right length and then sew the second side on.

I sewed some on to our existing hats. They were a present and it seemed a waste not to be able to use them.

I used a combination of fabric and elastic as I was concerned the babes would choke if the elastic caught on something. In hindsight, once I'd finished the sewing, I felt it would have been better - and safer - to have sewed a fabric chinstrap that attaches by velcro and so would easily come unstuck if caught.

I would suggest looking at the actual hat. A lot of stores stuff the straps in the hat for display!
