So what are your kids' favorite summer treats? The boys were having frozen GoGurts today and I was wonder what other healthy summer treats I could be offering for snacks.

Del Monty had came out with these fozen fruit cups. They are so good and more healthly then other things. My girls love these as a treat.

I have one of the "make your own ice pop" thingy's from Tupperware... I just fill it with 100% fruit juice - my choice - and freeze. The girls love them! They also love fruit salad right out of the fridge.

There's a little specialty shop just 2 blocks away that sells home decorating stuff, rich desserts, flowers, and during the summer months ICE CREAM CONES. Once a week we walk up for cranberry raspberry delight cones. The girls really look forward to it. Now that they're older, I don't mind splurging on sweets once in a while, especially when I'm enjoying one too ;)

Watermelon and other summer fruits -- berries are great this time of year
Popsicles (find the ones that are low in sugar and no artificial dyes -- they stain terribly)
Fudgsicles (no added sugar ones are great for dieting mommies too -- one point I think)
    Smoothies (yogurt, mango, strawberries, bananas...)
    Ice cream cones

I found miniature ice cream cones in the grocery store and they hold about a tblsp of ice cream INSIDE and I pop another tblspn (roughly, not measuring) on top and they are JUST RIGHT!!

Also, I did the make your own popsicles and I used the peach juice and fruit juice from the fruit cups and froze that and that worked well (how my Mom made them for me ) and I have a test round of Monkey Juice (Danimals to the outsider) in the freezer. They love the stuff and this will make it last longer. They are allowed to have one a day, but this is only 1/2 of one :)

Mine will eat fruit all day everyday, so that's pretty much a treat for them!
