Suitable movies to watch over the Christmas & new Year holidays

OK we don't normally let them watch more than 20 - 25 minutes of DVD every day but over the holidays, we have the extended family over so would like to put on a movie that is suitable for 4 year olds (they turned 4 in November) to also watch. Any suggestions?

The Charlie Brown Christmas Special (or any Charlie Brown special)
Toy Story Movies
Finding Nemo
The Muppet Show on DVD

 

Polar Express?

 

Doras Christmas movie is good if they haven't watched it
Rudolph
The Christmas cow movie can't remember name

 

Mine are a little older than yours, but they love The Polar Express, All the Classic Christmas movies: Rudolph, Frosty the Snowman. We have Dora's Christmas, Barbie as the Nutcracker, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas and Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas. Those are a few of their favorites. :good:

 

My boys love Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas, Gumby Christmas (can't remember the exact name), How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and Charlie Brown Christmas. They also really like the Santa Claus movies (all three).

My daughter requests Dora Christmas but the boys don't like to watch it because it's for "babies." Go figure.

 

This has been one of our all time favs since the boys were like 2yrs old. We just watched it again this weekend and it just never gets OLD !

Mine like Barneys Christmas and Santa Buddies, Santa Paws both of those are with dogs in them, Doras Christmas

 

ok we watched Santa Paws (they didn't like and brought up the whole sad issue of children with no mummys and daddys which made Ashley cry!) and we watched The Polar Express which Ashley didn't like and thought was scary. They are 4 years 1 month old. I guess we'll stick with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and The Backyardigans

 

MIne seem to get scared easily with movies and shows - so we are pretty limited. They did like Frosty the snowman, but most other xmas movies had a scary part that the kids didn't like, so I just gave up and let them watch regular non-xmassy stuff (barney, teletubbies, mickey mouse clubhouse and peppa pig).
