We will be taking our guys to the beach for the first time this year (just day trip). I know you guys are full of great suggestions, so any good ones for carting all the beach supplies? Thanks!

yes! I just returned from a 6 day beach trip where I used this for the first time:

It worked beautifully! I did a beach trip last year without it, and vowed that I needed a better way to cart all the "stuff" this year. It really made the trip easier. I will use it on my camping (cabin) trip too - to carry stuff (life jackets, towels, toys, mini-cooler) to the pool.

We have this same exact thing and LOVE it!!! We got it 2 years ago and it has worked great. It will come in handy when we go to the beach in 2 weeks.

You could also try one a wagon. We have the radio flyer one and it's great for carting stuff around.

When we go camping the kids actually have to walk to the beach (not very far) because we have to put all the "stuff" in the wagon! We took a day trip to the beach and put all the toys in our Ice Cube cooler, it has wheels and an extender handle that I put the beach bag around and set on top of the cooler, worked awesome! We have another small cooler with wheels that we used for drinks and snacks.

I was just going to ask if the Radio Flyer wagons are OK on sand - I guess they are?

We take our Radio Flyer ATW wagon. We got it for the kids, knowing that once they could walk we could also use it for the beach. I also carry a backpack with extra gear!

We have this for our stuff and we use the Radio Flyer wagon to bring the kids down. It works out great.

I took our step 2 wagon down to the beach yesterday. It was No good with the girls in it, but alrgiht when I told asked them to walk and put the rest of the bags I was lugging in. It probably would have been a smart idea to use the boardwalk that juts halfway down the beach to get down there, but silly ol' me went straight from the parking lot. Duh!

I think I saw that cart there yesterday too. I thought it was nice.

Good to know - bags in the wagon, girls elsewhere. And now I'm curious - which beach? :)
