Hi everyone, thought it might be helpful to post successes as well as the endless questions I always have. Well thanks to this forum
I seem to have put an end to food throwing in a mere two days. I used all possible strategies. I put less food on their trays and
waited for them to ask for more. They only threw at the end of the meal when they are finished and impatient, so we reviewed how to
say "finished!" and "come out!" (their favourite expression). If they threw food, I took the tray away and said "we don't throw food!", with a
few "food is precious!" and "there are hungry children in this world!" for good measure. I did have to resort to one hand slap when my DD
looked me straight in the eye after I took her tray away after throwing, reached into her sister's food and threw that food instead. I felt
awful after the hand slap and I really don't like doing it. So the next day I continued with the prior strategies and they are seriously not throwing!
I sit by them at the end of the meal and ask if they're finished, and make it clear that the tray will go once they are done and it's worked great :)
    Now onto the next thing!!!

Great job! I am going to have to try these strategies as the food throwing has gotten out of control at our house.
