    okay, i know we get our fair share of dumb questions from others, but dh and i ask each other strange questions about them, too. like, okay, when they look in the mirror at themselves, do they know they're looking at themselves, or do they think they see their sister? and when they look at their sister, do they think they're looking in a mirror sometimes? lol :p

    We've asked the same thing. Also can't figure out why they are so fascinated with the baby in the mirror but not very interested in each other!

    :laughing: My girls look very different so I never thought about those questions! One question I did think about was when they were tiny, they refused to look at or pay attention to each other... but if there was another baby in the room they both looked at and coo-ed at him/her. WHY!?

    Yes! Same thing here. They pay more attention to the baby in the mirror. So funny.

    [SIZE=10pt] :p We've asked the same thing...and we have boy/girl twins :lol:

    Lately I've been wondering if they think we brought another baby/babies home. We brought out a couple of baby dolls and they 'stare' at them so intently. Finally last night they picked them up and were giving them 'kisses' :lol: Guess they figured they weren't going to leave ~ mine as well treat them like family :D

    April :)

    This is too funny. I have frats, but my DH is sitting here and I read this to him and it sparked spin off conversation. Like do they ever really know what they are looking at when they look in the mirror (ours are only 4 mo) I mean do they think its another mamma? Do they recognize themselves? Are they totally confused. This is a great one mama.

    Mine love to watch our bathtimes via the mirror. Do they think they're watching TV? Do they realize it's us they're looking at? Mine really love to interract with each other, but could care less about that person in the mirror! LOL!

    LOL That is funny. I always have wondered why they ignore each other. They do love other babies though.

    I've started showing them movies of themselves. Jake is fascinated. Yesterday Ryan was asleep and we watched a video of him. Did Jake think his brother was in the computer?? DH and I ponder the mirror questions too! At first, Ryan would be frightened of himself in the big mirror and would keep looking back to see if the "stranger" was still there with his mommy. :)
