Those who are using Sleep Sacks, are you using the Sleeveless ones or the ones with the sleeves(http://www.crazyforbargains.com/pipodotslsaf.html?kw=pipodotslsaf&cmp=nextag)?

The kids are outgrowning their sleep sacks (the ones with the sleeves above) and I was wondering if it's worthwhile buying the Halo Sleep Sacks (sleeveless)...they are sooo expensive though. https://www.halosleep.com/products/results/?product_category_id=10

For those in a cooler climate (I'm in New York), what are you putting your kids to sleep in?

When my two were babies and done with the swaddles, in the winter time we used the sleeveless sleep sacks (the fleece ones) with warm PJ's underneath, in the summer time we used the cotton sleeveless sleep sacks with onesies (long sleeve or short sleeve ) underneath of them.

I'm in NY too - Long Island though. I have my boys in cotton sleeveless sleepsacs. I love them... http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3245249

Depending on how cool the night is, I either dress them in onsie shorts or onsie pants.

We have the cotton Halo sleep sacks and love them! I thought they were worth the price. We use them in winter and summer - in the winter I just put them over their sleepers and now that it's getting warmer they are in short-sleeved or long-sleeved onesies depending on how cold it gets at night.

You can often find the Halo ones on eBay. We always used those just because I never came across any other kind in the store. My kids wore them until at least age 3, and even in summer they often wore footie PJs underneath. We like to keep our house cold at night.

I am in Georgia and it is HOT! I still have my girls in the fleece sleep sack, but I put a onesie underneath it. We also keep it very cool in our home.

I will need to get them the cotton ones when summer gets here.

Please don't call the sleepsacks nasty names.

I love the Halo sleepsacks! When you consider that they will use them everyday, the price isn't that bad. Right now, it's in the high 60s, low 70s at night, and I have them in onesies with the fleece sleepsacks. We will be putting in our air conditioner soon, so I'm thinking we will keep them in the fleece. What I love about the fleece is that it dries very quickly, where the cotton ones stay wet all night long.

We used the ones with arms from Carters because our babies were small in the winter when we weaned from the swaddle. We have really long babies, so when they hit about 8-9 months old they were too long for sleep sacks, so we transitioned them to just footie sleepers and they have done beautifully. My DS was already pulling up by 8 months, so a sleep sack just made him mad.
