hehe, i'm new here if y'all haven't noticed, and i see a lot of different abbreviations ppl use in their posts, most of which i can figure out on my own but a few have confused me. Mainly, what are the moni/di and di/di abbreviations referring to? Thanks :)

mono di means the babies share one placenta (monochorionic) but have their own amniotic sacs (diamniotic)... di/di is 2 placentas (dichorionic) and 2 amniotic sacs (diamniotic).. there's a lot to know but you're in a great place to find out!! Congratulations and welcome to twinstuff!

ok thanks, that's helpful. so, if the twins are mono/di, does that definitely make them identical?
