stuff everywhere...not enough hiding places

ugh ugh ugh!!! The kids are into almost everything these days...and we only have a few places where they can't get into stuff, so it ends up piled high.

Or I clean out stuff to give away, etc and I have to shove it into my car so they don't take it apart again.

I'm so tired of living in what vaguely resembles a bad grad school apartment.

We didn't do a ton of baby proofing, and I'm glad, but now I feel like we tell them "no" all day. And we don't want to make an issue of everything - but i feel like i spend my day cleaning and re-cleaning.

I just want to have a nice house. It's bad enough we live in an ugly rental in desperate need of an overhaul.

Please tell me I am not alone in my piles...and closets which are disorganized.

 

:wavey: I am so right there with you! We live in our own home...but it is in desperate need of an overhaul anyway. Plus, it was my IL's, so I can't get rid of her stuff while she's still around (I love her dearly, but storing her junk is not on my to do list). So, yes, that limits my areas of putting things away. I feel like I live in chaosville most of the time.

Wow, this is me!! I have taken to shoving things in the attic, garage, basement and spare room and things are now out of control and it's making me :crazy: You are soooo not alone!!

 

Glad I am not the only one with tons of '"stuff"! I have piles of things up really high so the kids can't reach, but they have taken to using chairs or climbing shelves! We seem to spend most of the time picking up after them or hiding things from them.
