I know I for one had a hard time seeing the light at the end of the tunnel some days (okay months!). I had a very difficult first year with bfing/pumping, working, PPD, marrige/money issues ALONG with the regular infant twin problems. There were many days I questioned being fit to be a twin mom, I found it to be sooooo hard some days. I just couldn't believe it when people would tell me twins are fun. I would think, well yeah, occasionally <_< lol.
But here I am a survivor, who REALLY loves having twins :a_smil09: I look forward to each day, I can't wait to see what they will do/say next. They really do turn into little people, it is amazing.

So this is a reminder that they will STTN, they will eat solid food, they will feed themselves an entire meal while you enjoy yourself at a restaurant, you can take them to playgroup and chat for 1-2 hours with friends while they play by themselves....and just wait until they say "I wuv you mommy"

It gets easier, it gets fun, it all gets better and better!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the reminder, Kristi :) . You're a great encourager! After six months, I've started to see things get better myself. My babies play together a lot and are content for longer periods of time. It's so nice!!!

It's so nice to know that others have been where we are and that you made it through and that things honestly do get better!

Thank you for the pep talk Kristi! That first year is so difficult, but then when its over you look back and wonder where it went. I have to say that even though toddler-hood has its own challenges I wouldn't trade being a twin momma for all the sleep-filled nights in the world. (and mine didn't STTN until 8 months so I really value my sleep)

    Thanks for the message!

(I couldn't help but read the message and then immediately look at your ticker to see the age of your children. When I saw 2 years, I thought..."TWO YEARS....Thats how long it is going to take :) For what its worth things are 10 times better now then how they were before!! I cannot wait for the I love you mommy. Shoot. I'll just take ma-ma for now :)
