We were at BRU yesterday exploring our stroller options for when the girls outgrow the Snap N Go. I don't know if there is any way the front to back strollers will fit in the trunk of our cars...certainly not if we have things we need to buy. Plus they are so heavy I wonder if I can lift it up and into the vehicle. The side by side ones were better, but they are still bulky. I've also toyed with the idea of getting single umbrella strollers for when DH and I are together. How many strollers does one family of four need.

Does anyone have two single umbrella strollers (like the Graco Ipo) and connect them with those stroller connectors instead of getting a tandem side by side? If so, how does it work for you? I like the thought of doing that because of the flexibility of being able to use it as separate strollers when I have another adult with me. On the other hand, I suppose it is more work to set up and put away. Thoughts?

I can't answer your question but did want to chime in and say I have the Combi Twin Savvy and I think it's very compact, lightweight, super easy to use, etc. I couldn't say enough good things about it. Just my two cents on that one. I hope someone else will chime in about using the singles and connectors. Good luck with your decision.

I can't help with that either, but we have a Peg Perego Twin Aria and I love it! We have no trouble fitting through doorways and it's incredibly light and easy to use. It literally takes two seconds to collapse it and put it up. And, it has snack trays. :) I was a little skeptical about needing a double stroller at first, but I'm glad I spent the money on it. I got a great deal on mine at Albee Baby. I paid $169 and got free shipping. Can't beat that!

We have the Maclaren Twin Triumph. It's compact, lightweight and easy to use. You can look at it HERE. I've also heard good reviews about the strollers mentioned by pp.

We also have the Maclaren Twin Triumph and love it. It folds down so compactly, I think it would fit in alomst all cars. It is also light, compared to others and fits through all doors. I also find my girls love to be next to each other.

I have the Maclaren Twin Techno. It fits w/ tons of room to spare in the trunk of my Jetta. It is also very light and maneuvers SO well! I love it :)

We have a Graco Duoglider (that we don't use anymore, the kids hate it), 2 single Maclaren Triumphs, and a Maclaren Twin Techno. I love the Maclaren brand. They are very nice strollers, easy to use, small and compact. I like having the single strollers that way we each get to push a kid. It's also nice if we are at a car show or something and don't have much room to manuver a side by side stroller.

I have a few strollers. We have the double snap n go, Graco duoglider, double umbrella stroller, 2 single umbrella strollers and a baby jogger city mini.

Snap n go is not needed anymore since moving the girls out of their infant car seats
Graco duoglider- too heavy and hard to manuever
double umbrella stroller- it was a second hand stroller and was used too much before. Very light weight and easy to use- the canopy was broken, rusted bottom- just not very pretty
single umbrella strollers for taking one girl at a time or dh and I go opposite directions..etc
baby jogger city mini- our new purchase that should replace all the rest (minus the occasional single stroller need)
