Hello and Happy Easter to all of you! I am new to this board. My DH and I are expecting twin babies, a boy and a girl on July 28th. Tomorrow we will be 22wks along. I was wondering if they make duo travel system strollers that come with two of the infant car seats? All of the ones I have been able to find only come with one car seat. Any help, info, or suggestions on this would be much appreciated!!! Thanks so much!

I spent a ton of time on this. I found that Graco makes two- the duoglider and the duo tour. They are both tandem (one is behind the other) and good for urban and around town. The Graco Tour is a little better quality. Also, Peg Prego makes a really nice one (pricy) called a Duette. That is a great one if you live in a more urban area because of the wheels. But, they are air tires so they can handle a little bit of terrain. Then a third good option is to get a snap and go made by babytrend. These all take two infant seats. You will not find a traditional side by side stroller that takes two car seats!

This is only about $100 and is a frame that infant seats snap into. This is a easy lightweight thing to keep in your car.

I chose to get a snap and go as well as a Mountain Buggy. The mountain buggy is a side by side jogger syle all terrain stroller that comes with optional snap on bassinets, it can take two of those. It will only take one infant seat . The snap and go will get me throught the first 6 months with the infant seats and I have the mountan buggy for other outtings with the infants in the bassinets or the seats. Of course the mountain buggy will be usable for a long time. http://mountainbuggy.sycamorekids.com/cate...d=88&full=1

It may be possible that we will need to get another lightweight simple side by side stroller just to keep in the car for quick errands later on. The mountain buggy is a bit heavy and more for excursions.

    Good Luck

I had and still have the Graco duoglider. I bought 2 of the Graco snugride infant carriers to fit in it (they didn't sell them together as a travel system 2 years ago, not sure if they do now or now). It was great just being able to snap the infant carriers in the stroller and go. Now at 2 years old we still use the duoglider all the time.

Congrats on your twins and welcome to Twinstuff! :wavey:

I have the Baby Trend Double Snap n Go with 2 Baby Trend Flex Loc car seats. The Snap n Go is just a frame - and the car seats click right into it. I also have the Maclaren Twin Triumph side by side.

There aren't a lot of options for the travel system. I love my Snap n Go!!

If you check out the site- look at the link on the bottom of the page for the bassinets (they call cots), it shows a photo of them installed.http://mountainbuggy.sycamorekids.com/cate...d=88&full=1

Yes, I should ad, that in my research, I found that the snug ride infant seats were the most adaptable and fit all of the strollers that I mentioned above. They need to be bought separately. I got the snug ride platinum model (has sun visor, covers over the harness, etc.) which is the one with a few more bells and wistles and Graco makes strollers to match.

Same here on the duoglider. I love that the infant seats snap in and you can also use it as a regular stroller. We still use it sometimes. It's one of our many options.

    Welcome to TS!!!

When I bought my duoglider the travel system only came in limited prints and with the one seat. I bought the duoglider in the print I wanted and two matching infant seats at babies r us. It turned out less expensive that way and I got the print I wanted. I got the twin discount on the two seats. (Which I wouldn't have got buying the travel system and an extra seat because the one seat is included in the system and didn't count) Plus there were coupons for so much off a stroller and off car seats. They let me use the coupons plus the twin discount. I also found out when I was adding it up and questioned why it was cheaper to do this way even though I was basically getting the same thing that the travel systems are marked up because of convenience (I'll open an extra box) and because it was a certain print (which I didn't even care for). The boy working said it makes no sense but that's how they do it.
