When we get our tax refund we plan on getting a new side by side stroller. WHat stroller do you have and do you love it? We want one that we can use anywhere. We want to be able to use in the mall (so one that get's thru doorways) but also to use outside anywhere. We'll splurge to get a nice quality one that we can keep till we don't need anymore.

We have a Combi that we got a year ago and like but want something a little better. We're keeping the Combi at my IL's so she can use when she watches the girls.

When I have enough money I will be getting the BOB revolution jogger. It is pricey $550-600 but alot of twin parents say its worth the money. Ive doen alot of research on them and I really like that one. It will fit through any door a wheel chair will go through. Check it out, but thats what i would get.....if I could afford it!

I have Combi side by side, love it. Very lightweight. Since babies are getting bigger after long research I decided on In Step Safari Double Swivel jogger. On ebay it sells for about $200.

Don't forget to look on ebay, you can get some of the top of the line stroller at very good prices there.
I had a dreamer designs that my parents bought off ebay, the stroller has a 25 year garuntee and was in great shape after 4 years of use. (And put that refund money towards something else.)

I just did tons of research on this. I found www.joggingstroller.com to be a great resource as they have extensive reviews on each model. I narrowed my choice down to the BOB Duallie, Valco Twin Trimode, and Baby Jogger City Elite Double. I think I'd be thrilled with any of these three. I went with the Baby Jogger City Elite Double as it had the best sun shades, and I've got fair-skinned babies, so that difference was the tie-breaker for me. My stroller should arrive today, so I can review that one first-hand in a week or so. They all will fit through regular doorways but can also go in the grass/gravel/dirt roads. I've heard the Baby Jogger City Mini is much lighter and people love that one for lots of errands, in and out of the car. They're all about $500-$650.

I didn't have a store that sold these locally, so I had to rely on reviews. Here are my notes:

    Valco Twin Trimode
Pros: you can add a toddler seat, so you can take three kids, good storage
Con: seats don’t recline as far back

    B-O-B Revolution Duallie
Pros: super maneuverable with single front wheel, seats fully recline, these strollers have fans that rave about them
Cons: handle bar doesn’t adjust, no snack tray

    Baby Jogger City Elite Double
Pros: best sunshade on the market, best folding mechanism, seats fully recline, lots of accessories
    Cons: doesn’t look as cool

    We like the VALCO.

Not sure about that seat reclining thing from a previous poster. Ours goes back.
I recommend talking with "Jo" at Let's Go Strolling. We talked with
her over e-mail and the phone and she helped us out a lot. We never got to try out the
stroller before we bought it, just went for it.
    We are very happy!

I have a Combi too and love that for indoor stuff and air travel. But my absolute favorite stroller for the girls is my BOB Revolution Duallie. I have never had a problem fitting it through doors at the mall, Starbucks and Panera Bread. I also take it food shooping all the time when I just need to pick up a few things. I usually hang a hand basket on the stroller swivles (I think that is what they are called) all the time. It is really easy to hold a door and manuver the stroller one handed. As other posters have said there is no parent tray for this stroller but I purchased a Handlebar Console that attaches http://www.joggingstroller.com/Double-Handlebar-Console.pro and have never had a problem with it. I am still using the BOB with my girls when a stroller is needed.

We narrowed our choice down to the BOB Duallie or Bumbleride Indie Twin. We went with the Indie Twin...even though I really wanted the BOB...the BOB is just very long and the handle bar doesnt adjust.
I just bought the 2009 Indie Twin for $600

We love ours. It doesn't have everything (the basket is kind of small and hard to get to and you have to buy child trays seperately) but given the size, handling and weight of the City Mini, it can't be beat.

I bought the Valco Twin Trimode after a ton of research.
The Bumbleride Twin doesn't have a lock on it and isn't made for jogging.
The Bob just didn't look good enough to pay $550.00.
The Valco looks nice enough to take to the mall and you can also take it out for a jog.
I, of course don't jog, but my husband does, which was also a reason I picked this one.
The sunshade completely covers the babies, lots of storage, overall great side by side.
