I've been reading various threads about strollers, and now I want a new one. We have the Graco Duo Glider which has worked well for us so far. (The boys are 7 mo old). But as they get bigger, I can picture the boy in the backseat kicking the boy in the front. Did any of you switch stollers the older your twins bacame?

we had the double snap n go until the girls were around 8 months and now we strictly use our side by side jogger (Instep Safari TT)

    Love it!

No, I didn't switch. I used the Duo Glider until they were no longer using a stroller (right around their 3rd bday).

We never had a DuoGlider (or any tandem), but we got a Mountain Buggy Urban Double when the girls were 6 months old and it has been our primary stroller since then. We also have a Maclaren Twin Traveller for quick trips to the doctor's office, library, etc., but we could have been equally happy with something much cheaper for that purpose.

I just got my new baby jogger city mini! Woo hoo! I've got a little while before I can make the official switch (I need convertible carseats), but I really can't wait :D . It takes all I have to steer my quattro tour (and my son kicks the crud out of my daughter), and the city spins on a dime and I can push it with ONE HAND!

So the short answer is yes :) .

We initially had a tandem stroller but bought a used side-by-side when the boys got a little older (~ 14 months?) because they both wanted the front seat in the tandem.

Yes, I ditched the Duo Glider when we moved the girls to convertible carseats. We purchased a Bob Revolution Duallie and LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It's our only stroller and can be used for quick trips to the store, long walks, or running with the girls. My husband even ran a 1/2 marathon with the girls in it. It's my favorite piece of baby/toddler equipment we own.

We had the Snap-n-Go first, then the Duo Glider and then we switched to a SBS Peg Perego Aria because the Duo Glider was too heavy to lug around. So yes, we got another stroller when they turned about 2.

No. I only ever had the Graco duorider (the sbs one). I never used the infant carriers with my girls they started out in the convertable carseats. I liked them being side by side and they were usually good in it too. I didn't use a stroller to often, usually only when I went to the mall if I went somewhere else that had grocery carts they were put in them so I didn't have to take the stroller out.

I still use the DuoGlider. There is some kicking at times but I can usually distract them or I put the kicker in front.
