Hello! I was hoping you experienced twinmommies could help me. :help: My twins are expected in Feb when my daughter will be only 16 months old. She's too small for me to get a double stroller and expect her to walk. I'm wondering what kind of stroller people recommend for trips to the dr and other places where we may need to take all three kids in the first year.

I wanted a stroller that had the option of clicking in the twins' infant carseats. We have Chicco caresats. I haven't been able to find anything that accommodates Chicco and also has an option for a toddler.

    Thanks!

I have the valco twin trimode w/toddler jump seat which has been working really well. Car seats do not click in, however the double seats fully recline so you can lay your newborn twins flat in them. My DD (23 months at twin's birth) immediately took to the toddler seat (we call it her chariot) b/c she gets the prime view :)

I was going to suggest the Valco with the toddler seat too. Unfortunately you cannot attach the car seats as previously mentioned but I've always taken my babies out of their car seats - way more comfy in my opinion...I dislike the bucket seats. We LOVE the Valco and had it with my boys who are 16mths apart and now will love it again with the twins.

    Thanks, ladies!

Are there any strollers where the 3 seats are all one behind the other with "stadium" seating so that the kiddo in the back can still see? I've seen these for triplets but I'm not sure if these accommodate the twin/toddler combo.

I am not sure about the 3 in a row, but we have a Baby Jogger City Classic double for our 3. The twins go in the seats and our 2 yr old rides on the front foot rest. If your older child is not a "runner" and will stay seated, this could be an option. You can't out 2 carseats, but the seats do recline flat and are very deep, so they work well for newborns. You may also be able to get a great deal since it is coming up on the end of the year and current year models will be on sale. I got mine at the beginning of January last year for 50% off.

We just got our valco twin trimode with the toddler seat...our babies will be 14 months when their little sister gets here. It's a great stroller and we tried the toddler seat out when we got it and the babies loved it. I like that you can fold the seats down completely flat b/c that's perfect for a newborn who obviously can't sit up yet. It's a little heavy, but not as bad as I was expecting and although it's a little pricey, I found a great deal on albeebaby.com. 15% off so I wound up getting the stroller and toddler seat for less than what just the stroller was going for on other web sites. I spent months researching and this really was the best deal all around. Good luck!
