Okay saw at at the store a Combi Counterpart 2, which is not a side by side and can house 2 infant seats at the same time.. retail was $229 (found it cheaper online tho) SO what I am wondering is any opinions on this one?? The weight of it said it was 25.6 pounds, is that even resonable.. I want to be able to use it on my own, hubby wont always be around to set it up and take it down.. Plus to add 2 combi seats to go with it, those are $100+ each.. Is this worth it?

AlSO has anyone ever bought 2 double strollers at one time or another?? I really want a 2 infant seat stroller, but at some point I think I'd really like the Combi twin side by side (although I have read some not so gppd reviews) Is it okay to think that I may wind up with 2 strollers at some point?? Seems like a lot of dough.. any thoughts?

SOoooooo total that is $469 is that reasonable for a stroller and 2 infant seats??

I dont know about the strollers you want to know about. But you can definetly have more than one stroller! I have 3 right now, two double and a quad... I need a single!! :)

i was lucky enough to get a used universal snap n go for free from a mom in the local twins club. so i'll use that with the infant car seats. i also got the peg perego aria as my lightweight side by side. what i like about that (as opposed to the combi) is the snack tray. i don't understand why the maclaren and combi don't have snack trays. i actually had the combi (given as a group gift from work) and i returned it for the aria because of the snack tray.

if you haven't tapped into your local twins/multiples club yet, you may want to do that now, introduce yourself and ask if you can send a message our to the members to see if anyone has used items you're looking for either to sell or giveaway.

We just bought the Combi Counterpart 2 Tandem Stroller (well it was bought off our registry). It lists for $199 at BRU and Target, but you do have to buy the carseats that go with it seperately.

I don't have advice for how it works with actual babies, but it was easy to put together, looks nice, and is very easy to maneuever around our house with the 2 carseats snapped in. I think that we will really like it when the babies come, it is so much lighter than the DuoGlider. I was able to collapse it and lift it into the back of our Toyota Corrolla at 30 weeks pregnant without much difficulty at all.

The one thing I didn't like about the carseat is that in order to move the handle up and down you have to push a button on either side, which makes it kind of tricky. But they say that the carseat will fit longer babies for awhile longer than the Graco seats (from the research I did online), and seeing that I am 5'11 and DH is 6'1, we figure we're going to have long babies.

We plan to start with the one stroller than buy another later on, once we see how things work out, I liked the Combi side by side as well, but it only fits one infant carrier.

    Good luck and happy shopping!

I too recommend the double snap and go for when they are in the infant seats. I loved it! Then I sold that and got a tandem double by jeep -lke the duoglide. It was heavy but very well made and opened and closed easily. Now I am selling that as I bought a double umbrella side by side that my boys are MUCH happier in and its much easier to manueuver and only weighs like 20 lbs? HTH

I used the snap and go for the first months while they were in their carseats (till about 7 mos. or more) and then I bought the Combi Twin Savvy! LOVE IT!!!! Totally recommend it! The cupholders are a MUST for the kids. You can feed them snacks in them and they'll use them for their sippies later! It's a great stroller and you can manage it by yourself. It's awkward if you put it in the car w/o folding it in half after folding it the first time, but you'll get used to it pretty quick.

Check Craigslist for a used Snap and Go and then worry about your stroller stroller as you go forward!

I also have a jogging stroller for walks etc. because my Savvy was getting beat to a pulp on the streets etc. and I got the SafariTT and it's AWESOME!!!!! I almost like it better, but it doesn't have any cupholders and no hand brake.

I bought the graco duoglider to go with our carseats. I loved it and it worked well up until the time that we took them out of the seats and they would ride in the stroller regularly. Then they started hitting and stuff and not liking not being able to see aorund. So i just invested in the Combi side by side and i love it. The reviews said that it was flimsy and wouldnt work well in the grass. with our experience, it works great in the grass b/c it isnt a heavy duty thing....like it's able to twist a bit with the ground. I love it and the boys love it.....
