We just installed the girls new car seats this weekend. So now they
sit directly in the stroller (front to back Combi stroller) instead of
in the infant carriers. We were out today and I wanted them to go to
sleep but it seems like they are just too close! Emma put her feet
OVER the seat in front so she was kicking Hannah's head!

Just wanted to see if anyone else has this problem with front to back
strollers or if I am doing something wrong. I guess my other option is
to save some money and try buying a used side by side stroller.

    Suggestions?

I have both a SBS, and tandem, and there are equal problems with both I think! My two just hate the stroller altogether! <_<

The tandem stroller never worked for us for that same reason. Mine do much better in the SBS. I do know lots use the tandems successfully so hopefully they have some advice for you!

Mine just never liked to sleep in a stroller. Either kind!

Same thing here, but not an issue. We always put Sierra in the front and she is always kicking Jr's chair. Never bothers him though, he'll still fall asleep.

We never had the head kicking problem but the girl in the back did sometimes lean up and pull hair. We just kept telling her no and pulling down her hand and she eventually got the point (although it took a few months at that age). Still, it was way easier to deal with than our side by side because all we had to control was the girl in back. In the sbs, both kids were bugging and kicking each other. The sbs was not quite the stroller of sisterly love that I was expecting. ;)

Did you try putting the other baby in back to see if she does the same thing?

No, this was our first time with them in the stroller. Next time I will try switching them! They are both just LONG babies and I have a feeling they will always feel cramped!

I just hated the tandem stroller because i was leading into the parking lot with the kids. What if someone didnt see my stroller? That and it was HEAVY.. Mine werent old enough to be out of the carriers before i got rid of it.

Oh speaking of heavy, for the first time. I had to push that stroller with my 17 and 13 pounders in them up a hill! That was exhausting!

We used a tandem (DuoGlider) until they became bigger and wanted to see things, around 6 months. Then we switched to a SBS Phil and Ted's, which they love and I can get through store doors in!

Mine never sleep in strollers....They love to look around wherever we go - that's why we got a SBS so they can both see equally. Actually, we have a tandem as well but I gave it to my parents to use so they didn't have to buy one (The DuoGlider)...I use the Maclaren Twin Techno and a BOB jogging stroller which are both SBS.
