Has anyone tried or does anyone have this stroller??? My son will be 20 months old when the twins come...and I don't want to get a huge triple stroller. When I take all three out though I don't want to always rely on either having someone with me to push him in his own stroller, or plan on him to walk the whole time. What do you think?? (Oh and babiesrus has free shipping today on strollers so that would be a nice bonus if I get it!!)

I think it would work fine...the only thing I would look at is whether or not both seats recline or carry infant car seats. If they don't both fully recline and/or hold the car seats it won't be very useful until your twins are a little older. I never saw a double stroller with the standing thing when I was looking, the best I could find (for a reasonable price) was the duoglider.. I liked the fact that it held both infant car seats b/c some double strollers would only hold one infant car seat and then not recline enough for the other infant. Once my kiddies got a little more sturdy I bumped them up to a lightweight umbrella stroller..so much easier! and by that point my older dd wanted to walk more anyway.

My DD was 18months when the twins were born, she was not ready at all to walk and stay close enough to listen. I got the valco stroller with toddler seat, it has been a lifesaver for us, it is the only way I can go out by myself. Valco Website

I purchased the stroller from here I think I paid a total of 580.00 for the stroller and maybe another 45 for the toddler seat. It was so worth it!

Someone on TS once posted about the joovy big caboose saying it was really really big and she had a hard time fitting it into her minivan

Looks like a great option! My kids used my brother's sit and stand at that age just fine. Some things that I would want to seriously consider:

    1) Does it accommodate two car seats?
    2) When folded, will it fit in your trunk?
    3) When folded, will you be able to lift it into the trunk by yourself?

I did not worry too much about reclining. If it reclines just a tad, I know that my kids would be happy with that. We rarely used the full-reclining feature on our stroller. As for the Valco, it is a great stroller, but it is very pricey. This stroller looks like a more affordable stroller. But I don't know much about it.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Luckily I have a suburban and I'm almost 5'10, so it should fit in my car and I should be able to lift it in there.

I just worry about it being to big to steer and to hard topush. The description of it says it accomodates two infant carriers, so I should be able to use it right from the start. My DS loves my SILs sit and stand....I hate shopping with her because he wants out of his stroller so he can stand on the back of her's.

I just can't see buying a snap and go and then buying another stroller after they outgrow it.....thanks for the input.

I heard it was like a little bus and I think I got that from an online review. Kind heavy, I am also 5' 10" and have had no problem behind my Valco with the toddler seat. It was pricey but I went with it. It sucked that it couldn't fit the seats with the toddler seat on but we used the Double Decker for the first 8 months till the boys were too big for their seats.

Having had a 20 month old and newborn twins, I can say that the Snap-n-go and the Valco runabout with toddler seat were absolutely the way to go. The snap and go was so easy for doctor's visits where you don't want to move two infants from car-seat to stroller. The Valco toddler seat supported our oldest until just before his 3rd birthday. Zoo visits, flights to grandma's, plus I don't think my wife could ever had gone to the grocery store or to Target without it. It makes it possible to push (and sometimes confine) all 3.

Regarding the size...she isn't big and she was able to get it into the back of our Odyssey without issue.

This is my first post in a while and we've just found out we're pregnant with a singleton. We will no longer be needing our Snap-n-go or our Twin w/ Toddler seat. We were holding on to it "just-in-case" we'll need it again :)

If you're interested in buying them at a far discounted price, send me PM and we can work something out!

I can't say enough about this stroller. I know my wife couldn't have lived without it.

My DD was 16 months when my 2 DDs were born. I went with a Duo glider and my oldest usually walked holdding my hand or I put one baby in the bjorn and one is the carriage with my oldest. It worked best for us. Easy to push one handed or pull when the baby seats were being used. They are now 3 (4 in March) and 2 1/2 and they all walk with me when we go places because they have done so for so long that I am not chasing anyone anywhere or having to push a double stoller. Good luck.
They didn't have the triple with the toddler standing in the backor I would have bought that one for sure.

So, one of the things that never occured to me (could have been because of sleep deprevation) was carrying one to the babies in a sling when we went out. What about a double, will not be as heavy/bulky as a tripple even the joovy (I have the double joovy and it closes up tighter that the sit n stand or the duo glider) and then wearing the other baby in a carrier? This will give you the option of the older child riding and you can start to experiment with walking and staying close, with the "threat" of going back in if he/she does not stay close. At about 18 months my two did not want to be in the stroller much. They wanted, well, really insisted on walking.

    Have fun on your journey!
