Ok, so I've seen a TON of posts here about people loving their Combi Twin Savvy stroller, so I was all set to buy one. However, at BRU yesterday, I tested the Twin Savvy, the Maclaren Twin Techno and the Peg Perego Aria Twin. I really, really liked the Aria the best. It was so light and folded easily and I loved the fact that it had a stroller bar for the kids to eat cheerios off of. (so important for my son) However, I just looked up reviews at baby gaga (http://strollers.baby-gaga.com/reviews/double-umbrella-strollers.php) and the reviews for most of the double umbrella strollers were not that good. The Inglesina got the best reviews. So now I'm just totally confused as to what to buy! I want a lightweight double stroller that will last 3 years and fold up relatively small since I also usually need an umbrella stroller for my son too. I will only need it for sidewalks, shopping and the boardwalk. No rough terrain. I thought I wanted a side-by-side umbrella double, but after reading the reviews, I don't know.

Help!!! We're going to have to buy one soon since we're currently using the double snap-n-go and the girls are 7 mos already!

My combi gets to the size of a golf bag (but lighter than one [IMG] ) and it fits through the xray machine at the airport. It has 3 "Cup" holders which serve their snacks wonderfully. They love eating out of their little holders and are able to set their sippies into them easily as well.

The basket space isn't great, but I just use a small diaper bag (one they gave us at the hospital) and if you manage it right, you can fit stuff in there. I frequently find myself having to push one handed and I can do it. It's not THE easiest thing, but I can pull luggage at the airport and push my stroller with relative ease. (People look at me like I must be wonder woman or something, it's pretty funny).

I took the advice of my fellow TS'ers in buying it and I am SO happy that I did. Whatever you decide. Make sure you can return it. (I bought mine online and did NOT pay shipping!!) That way, if you get the Aria and don't like it you can return and try something else.

Have you thought about the double caboose stroller so you can take all three of your kids with you?? http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?p...rentPage=family

My twins are only 4 months old now and we have a used Jeep umbrella stroller, but I don't think I'll use it very often just because it's too wide to get through in a lot of places. Once they outgrow their double snap n go, I plan to get the Kolcraft contours stroller. I like how the set up is so flexible. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5223201

We also have a Schwin double jogger (my DH calls it the all terrain stroller because we don't jog) and a FP kids utility vehicle.

I guess I like having a variety of strollers.

I have the Aria Twin and I love it. It is more substantial than an umbrella stroller, but so light & easy to use. It pushes easily & I have had no real problems getting it through doors, etc. [IMG]

Oh i am so inlove with the new kolcraft contours double stroller! but I dont need one for much longer so I cannot justify the expense. I have the jeep double umbrella stroller for the very few time I need it. It works great and it fits through all the doorways I have tried, hospitals, schools, workout places, grocery store. I too liked the combi twin savvy but again cannot justify the expense at this point now. I got my jeep double on sale for $40!!! Cant beat that!

I went to Right Start to get some information about the Combi, Aria and the MacLaren. They told me that MacLaren is the best in terms of quality and durability. Aria is the one they get most complains about because of the poor construction and the large amount of plastic. I bought the Combi because of the weight and the way it steers, but wasn't impressed and resold it on Craigslist. I got the MacLaren Twin Rally and I like it much better. It's way better quality (hardly any plastic), and since we use it for airplane travel that was a must.

I have an Aria and I love it. It's so easy to manuever and lightweight enough so that if the wind blows it starts to roll if it's empty. It folds pretty flat, but still takes up a lot of room. I love the big basket underneath.

Hey Col - it's Eve! [IMG]

We have the Combi Twin Savvy, and although it is comfortable and light, I HATE that the baskets are so tiny, and there is no cup holder or compartments on mine. I know they have attachments you can buy to hold things, so I probably will for the summer.

But I kind of wish I would have just gotten the Aria twin, as it has those things already.

    Take care,

    Eve

Thanks everyone for your opinions! I'm now also comparing the kolcraft because that DOES look very cool! (AHHH--adding another stroller to the mix!)

The website said durability was a major problem with the twin savvy and the aria. Have you guys with those strollers encountered durability issues?

Jenn- I don't think I want the big caboose b/c it just looks humongous and heavy. Brayden will be 3 this week and he walks fairly well next to the stroller, but when we go out as a family, it's better for him to be in an umbrella stroller for dh to push.
