stroller question AGAIN!

I am looking at a stroller that is sbs and 31 in wide. Will it fit through a standard door. My current sbs is 30 and seems to just fit. Do you have one wider than 30.

 

I am pretty sure that my BOB is 31 inches. I was a little nervous but I looked on their website and it says that it fits through standard doors. I have fit through every door that I have tried - but making my way through clothing stores and restaurants is another story - SO annoying.

 

31" sounds wide. My Mountain Buggy is 29" and fits ... Bob is 30.8". Valco is 28". I only know that the RightStart double stroller (store brand) is 32" and too wide for many doors. I have no experience with jogging strollers.

 

I got really curious so I checked online. A standard doorway width is 32 inches - not that all doorways are the standard width.

 

I would be alittle concerned with that width. I have a Valco (28" wide) and there are some doors it just barely fits through.

 

I probably should not chance it. I was looking at the chicco c5. It looked a little nicer then the chicco twin citta but the citta is 30 inches and the chicco c5 is 31. AHHH!! I simply need a light sbs. THe combi made me nervous to buy because it seemes like there was a lot of plastic so I was concerned with how durable it is.

 

The Instep strollers are 31" and fit through standard doors. I have found only one door that it wouldn't go through and that was a park restroom that hadn't been updated to handicap access. All places with handicap access are fine.

Oh, and a standard home entry door is 32 - 36". A standard interior door is 28" - 32". Stores typically have entry doors that are at least 36". So, unless you're going to take the stroller through your house, you'll be fine.
