After a month of shopping, I had my new stroller decided on...but DH is now trying to introduce new options. [IMG]

If you have any of these strollers, could you also comment on these reviews I've seen & add your own review of why you love/hate it?

    COMBI TWIN SAVVY:
*Seats do not fully incline to 90 degrees. Is this a problem for older (1-3 yrs) kids?

    GRACO DUORIDER:
    *Biggest underseat storage bins?
*How is it for set up/break down...easy in/out of car?

    PEG PEREGO ARIA:
*Too low so storage basket drags on ground eventually ripping?

I have the Jeep. No real storage space. I use a back pack and hang bags on the hangles just make sure if you get the kids out you either take the bags off first or have someone hold the stroller.

I have the Aria and only put light things in the basket-- jackets, bags, etc.. Our diaper bag is a backpack so I either wear it or hang it on stroller hooks.

Prior to the Aria I had a Duo Glider. The storage basket was big, but honestly if the baby in the back was sleeping you couldn't get to the basket with the seat down. Also, things get jammed so far in the basket you have to take everything out to get to it all. What finally did it for me was the lifting and fold up. It is big and weighs a ton. I was killing my back getting it in out of our car and SUV.

I honestly wish I would have skipped the Duo Glider and went straight to the Aria from our snap-n-go.

Honestly you need to weigh what is most important to you. If it is storage space, then I would say the Duo Glider is your best bet. If it is folding ease and being light-- decide between the Aria and the Combi.

    Good luck.

I just want to be sure. You said the DuoRIDER, right, not hte DuoGLIDER. Big difference in easy of use, imo.

I chose "other" because I have the DuoRIDER and the Twin Savvy.

I feel the Twin Savvy's inability to go to a really good incline is annoying to both me and the girls. They squirm around the whole time trying to get comfortable. For this reason, they really don't like to spend much time in this stroller. They like to relax in their seat but they can't do that and still really see what's going on in the Savvy. Also, this stroller makes me very uncomfortable with how wobbly it feels. Yes, I've heard all the arguments that it's the design "feature" and all that but it doesn't make me like it any more. I also don't like how cheap and flimpsy everything on it feels. I do like the cup holders. I'm glad I bought mine on eBay. I would have been very irritated if I had bought this new and disliked it this much.

The DuoRIDER (SBS) is my stroller of choice. I love the storage, the stability, the little cup holder for me. I wish the seats had a multiple position recline but we never use that feature now anyway so it has no bearing. To me, it's no more hassle than the Savvy to fold down and throw in the van. Just different steps involved. It does take up more room but it folds virtually flat so it's not a big deal. Once you get your groove with setup and teardown, it's quick and easy. I can steer this one with one hand accurately and the girls like it.

I was carrying both around and using the Savvy for stores with really tight spaces, like Kohl's, but I removed the Savvy from my van completely a few months ago. The RIDER isn't that much wider to really make a difference and with the wobbliness of the Savvy it's harder to steer in those tight spots.

So, there's my review, FWIW. I hope you find the stroller that fits your needs. It's so hard to find a good one.

Oh, and FWIW, I would trade my Savvy in for my old DuoGLIDER any day.

Thanks, Jennie...these were my exact concerns about the DuoRider. We already have the DuoGlider, but once I got a taste of the ease of my snap n go, I just can't go back to the clunky glider...what a pain!

I used the Graco Duoglider until the boys were around 18 months. It just got too heavy to push even though I have skinny guys. Now I use the Twin Safari jogging stroller and like it. But in the duoglider days I found it had pleny of underneath storage and it popped in and out of my minivan really easy. It was great in stores because it was skinny and could fit around the racks of clothes well. The down side was that who ever was in the back would kick and push the seat in front of them.

I got my Aria used at my local twins club Fall sale (yeah!), so got a really good price on it. Then, we picked up a (well-used) Duoglider at a yard sale for $15.00 -- after a BIG wash-up, its just fine.

I find that the Aria is lightweight, turns on a dime and is comfy for my guys. The Duoglider is harder to push and steer.

But, I do like having both available. We also have two JEEP umbrella strollers that we like to use with both DH and I are out together (or with other helping hands from friends/aunt).

Good luck in your stroller decision!

Just an FYI - She is asking about the DuoRIDER, not the DuoGLIDER. The DuoRIDER is a SBS, not the tandem travel system. Big difference between these two strollers, imo.

Sweetpea - Good luck deciding. I would go to BRU or similar and try them out, WITH the kids in them. Try to get through the isles, make sharp turns, steer with one hand, etc. I wouldn't go with first impressions of setup and tear-down only because it's new to you so that will change as you do it a few times and find your own process. KWIM?

I have the Twin Savvy. It's very lightweight, easy to set up and very easy to get out of the van. As you mentioned though, I find the lack of ability to adjust the seat incline very annoying. The boys often get squirmy because of this. I'm considering trying another brand.

LOL, Nicole! It's easy to see DuoRider and SEE DuoGlider. I did it MANY times before I actually owned one.

We have the Twin Savvy and we really like it. The seats not going 90 degrees doesn't bother ours. If they want to sit up the seat is soft so it moves with them.

Thanks everyone for your input. I have decided on the DuoRIDER.

I was dead set on the Savvy (of course hadn't tried it out yet) until DH suggested the Rider b/c of the incline & storage features. I made a huge deal about how I already knew what I wanted and please don't bother to talk me out of it...blah, blah, blah

I'm going to get quite the I-told-you so-speech [IMG] ...not looking forward to that!

I have a combi and LOVE it. Mine do not seem at all bothered by the non-upright seats. It's really light, folds easily, steers well with one hand and unfolds with one hand and stands when folded. I highly recommend it [IMG]
