Currently, I am only using my double snap-n-go, and we have a double jogger to start using soon. But, we also have a new, still-in-box, jeep Wrangler Twin Sport that was given as a gift. Recently, we were at BabiesRus, and fell in love with the Kolcraft Contours Tandem. It seems like an awesome and versatile stroller!

So, now we are considering returning the Jeep (which is a side-by-side) and getting the Kolcraft (back-and-front seating). The Jeep is small (relatively) and lightweight. The Kolcraft costs more but we love the 7 different seating options (including facing each other) and the five-point harnesses.

So, in addition to a side-by-side jogger, which stroller would you pick - a) the lightweight, easy to transport side-by-side, or B) the versatile, easy-to-maneuver 'long' stroller?

    Thanks!

I have the Jeep one and truthfully I hate it. Thankfully I bought it used and only spent $30 on it. My husband and the kids like it though.

    Pros:
    lightweight
    smaller
    kids can both see out
easier to get them in and out

    Cons:
    short handles
    can't maneuver
    no place to store bags
doesn't do so good in sand

Hi there! We have the Kontours tandem and I love it! I was SO about to buy the double Peg Perego Aria one, or the Combi twin savvy .....both are side by sides, lightweight, etc. But a gal on my street who has 8 month old twins has the Kontours one and I got to try it out with her chubby eight month olds in it.

    *Turns on a dime
*fairly lightweight-fits in the back of our Yukon XL Denali open or closed up and I can manage lifting it no problem.
*baggage area is huge and easy to get in and out of.
*all of the moving parts/adjustment buttons are EASY to use, it is IDIOT proof without even reading the manual.

Honestly, for the price, the options are amazing on it compared to the other models out there. I really love it. Good luck!

I just bought the Kolcraft Contours. I haven't put it together yet, but loved the floor model at Babies R Us. My only concern is leg room when facing each other or the front seat is reclined. I am just going to have to put them in it and try it out. Read lots of reviews and some people commented they feel they didn't have enough room for their babies and some said it was great with plenty of room. I'm sure it depends on how tall the kids are too.....

We have the Kolcraft Countours and really like it. It's a very smooth ride and feels very sturdy. We also have the Peg Perego Twin Aria SBS and I find I don't use that one quite as much. I think it's a great deal for the money!

We have a Kolcraft Contours Tandem as well...the only thing I don't like about it is that you have to detach each seat from the base before you fold it.

I was at Babies 'r' Us yesterday and saw that Graco makes a double stroller that folds flat in one piece, but who knows how well it works?

Other than the inconvenience of taking the seats off, I LOVE the Kolcraft...it turns on a dime, I love the seating options, and *red is my favorite color!

We have the Contours and love it. It pushes to easily, turns, Mine havn't been squished yet. They are at 90 and 97% in height so they aren't short. I have talked lots of people into getting one when they have seen mine. I also love the basket. I go grocery shopping and can put $100 in the basket. I dont' even take a cart.

We had the Combi side-by-side (lightweight) and didn't like it nearly as much as our new Kolcraft. I am so glad we got it! My only complaint is that it's REALLY big and pretty heavy. But, I love how easy it is to maneuver, and that my boys can look at each other. I get compliments on it ALL the time.

We got the Kolcraft Contours but haven't had he opportunity to use it yet, but I can't wait until the boys are home to try it out!

We got this because of all the seating options and the maneuverability and the ease with which it folds up and after folding up it stays standing up to make it easier on my back to put in the minivan. I also love that we are able to have both infant carriers attach and it's no big deal to remove a seat if you need to.

I'm so relieved to see so many people like this stroller!! When we got this it was our first big baby purchase and the only reviews I could find were at Target and some of them were so whiney about the weight and the removal of the seat issue. I'm so glad to finally see more reviews.
