    Hi,
We are going to Disneyland (So. Calif.) next month with the boys. The will be 4 1/2. When we go to the zoo or something similar now, they just walk, but I'm wondering with an all-day event like Disneyland if I should bring our double stroller. I'm afraid they might get tired out and want to rest. I haven't used our stroller in ages. I looked on Disneyland website and you can rent strollers, but I didn't see double ones. Does anyone know if they have those? We have a pathfinder wagon, but they probably can't really rest (especially if they want to sleep) very comfortably in that.

Anyone have any suggestions? To stroller or not to stroller?

    Thanks everyone!

I would bring it. I swear I wish I had thought to use a stroller even before I had kids - I love it as a rolling place to hang my bag, store bottles of water, snacks, hats and sweaters, and then of course for the inevitable whining "I'm tired". We went with my 2 year olds, and their 4 and 6 year old cousins, and the 6 year old kept complaining because she was the only one without a stroller.

    Have a great time!

    Best,
    Mia

I would bring it as well. In case you do need it, it is better to have it than not. Also, I am not sure about you, but my stroller is also good for storage of jackets, snacks, diaper bags, purchases, etc...[IMG]

    Have a fun trip!

We went to Disneywold last year when the boys were 4. We rented a double stroller, and they uses it a lot! I would think they have double strollers to rent. We also hadn't used a stroller at home in almost a year.

We went to Disney World in Florida during Christmas break. (Bad time to go, it was realy crowded.) But, anyway, we brought a double umbrella stroller and a single umbrella stroller because I wanted something that could be folded up small if needed. As it turned out, we didn't fold it up much but kept the kids in it when boarding the unirail, train, etc. and were allowed on first like someone in a wheelchair. It came in handy because it kept them contained and for Aubrea who cannot walk as fast as an adult and got tired of walking. It also kept people from smashing them in a crowd since it was so crowded. Our twins were 2 1/2 and Aubrea was 4 3/4 at the time. Hope this helps.

We went to Disney World in May and we rented a double stroller. Every park had them to rent when you got into the park. I believe it costed us $18 a day with a discount if you pre-paid for the number of days that you were there. You couldn't remove the stroller from the park and keep it for the week though. We got a lot of use out of it. I would recommend it.

They should have double strollers to rent if you decide not to bring yours.

I didn't rent one for K&K and they did great. What we did was walk daily for a couple months prior to going to try to build some stamina (and teach them to stay with me, stop when I ask blah blah blah). They never once said anything about the walking or ever mentioned a stroller. If they had, I was prepared to rent one.

We rented one for the week, but just used it to hold the bags & water bottles. The boys were to busy to ride.

I echo that!! RENT ONE! I just got back....I bought my single umbrellas, and I didnt enjoy carting them. They were helpful for me in the airport, and thats it...but my boys are little. I would rent the double...they are about 18 dollars for the day...and if they dont ride, its great to push your crap around, and its so light. good luck!!

We rented as well. I do remember hearing once how someone who was going to be there 4 days bought one in orlando and then sold it before they left and it was cheaper than renting.

My brother just came to visit and to take his 4-year-old to Disneyland for the first time. They spent two days there, and did not take a stroller. She walked both days, all day, without any problems or complaining.
