    hello all!
i had a question about my twins. they currently ride in a bumbleride indie twin. they are pretty good about walking. one holds my hand - the other runs. therefore - we always take a stroller. they are 23 months now. we are hoping to have a new LO and i'm assuming my LO's will be almost 3ish.

what will my twins be doing than? will they need a stroller? will i just need a 'single' stroller? i love my indie twin and wish i could 'attach' a new infant carrier, lol.
im a planner and looking for some advice. :) TY ALL! :grouphug:

You could continue to use your current stroller and just use an infant carrier for your baby. Then re evaluate as your "baby" gets bigger.

You can attach an infant see to the bumbleride. good luck!

I wouldn't get a triplet stroller if that's what you are asking. At age 2 mine already like to walk a lot, and usually by age 3 the stroller gets used very rarely. Now, I haven't had 3 yr old twins yet, so we may use the stroller a little bit more than with our singletons, but I know with them, the only time I used it was at the zoo, and that was mostly to carry the diaper bag.

I would wait and see what happens, but if you can attach a carseat to one side of your double, then I'd use that and put one twin in the stroller with the baby, and the other can hold your hand. Start teaching them soon how to walk holding your hand and by the time you do have a new LO, they'll be pro's at it.

I agree. Don't buy a triplet stroller. You can get a single stroller and just teach the other 2 to hang on to the side of it. If you have one that still runs away, maybe consider a harness until they stop running away. I would keep the double though for trips to the zoo, etc., when you have someone else with you to push. Then you have room for everyone to sit and for all the stuff you bring with you on a longer outing.

Get yourself a sling or Ergo or Mei Tei for the new baby. The Bjorns and carriers like those aren't good for the baby's spine. You can use the carriers I mentioned till the baby is much older. I can still carry my 2yr old in the sling either on my hip, my back or facing me stradling my hips. I can still use the Ergo with a child on my back.

My twins and youngest are 16 months apart. When my little one was well little LOL I held him in a carrier (strapped on to me) and the twins in the double stroller. Once he was big enough to sit in the double stroller without the car seat (we have a side by side) the twins were a little older so now I put him and one of the twins in the double stroller and have one of the twins hold my hand or "help" me push the stroller. I have thought about a triplet stroller a billion times but honestly the method I use now is the easiest for me. We don't go out a ton anyway but when we do this really does work. If the "walking" twin starts to get crazy then he/she has to sit in the stroller and the other one gets to walk.
