I have officially had TWO strollers die on me. My Graco Duo Glider broke a few months ago and I have had to resort to the Duo Rider I got for my first two dd's eight years ago. It just broke the other day. I can't go long without a stroller. Dh is deployed and I only have two hands. I'd love a fancy jogger but I can't justify the expense. I would prefer to keep this around $200. Any suggestions are appreciated. I'd like to knock this out in two days or so.

April - where did your duo glider break? Is it a part that can just be replaced? Graco stands behind their products and even without a receipt or anything they often will send at no cost to you even for the shipping the part that is broken. Good Luck Mary

    Hi April,

We have a Combi Twin Savvy that I think was around $250. If you want a side-by-side it's a really great one. I'm not sure where you are in WA, but we have a Graco Duoglider in great shape that we really don't use anymore and I'd be happy to sell it to you. PM me if you're interested.

Try a used jogger. craigslist is always a good source.

I have this stroller and love it. I can push it with 1 finger, even loaded with 3y/o twins. The front wheel locks or swivels. DH and I always express amazement that we didn't get one earlier (we got it only last Nov).

    Hello,
I like my Inglensina umbrella side by side. I got mine through my local twins group. Someone had only used it a few times and decided not to use one anymore (Brave soul). She gave me 1/2 off the original price. Just another option. Also, check craigs list.
Good Luck. I hope you like what you choose.

Definatly check your local craigslist.org you can post an add to for what you are looking for, or just do a search for double strollers and they will all come up. You can check ebay too, since they are so heavy to ship it may be helpful to mark the box that says items within x amount of miles to your home. I just got a combi twin savvy for $90 for my bday on ebay and since she only lived 5 miles from here I got to pick it up for free

Thanks ladies. I'm going to go look this morning before preschool. The physical weight of the stroller is becoming an issue with a new stroller. I can haul a bigger stroller in and out of the van on a regular basis but don't know if I want to keep doing that. My back can't take much more. But if the right stroller is heavy, I'll deal. I thought about replacing my Graco strollers with another Graco, but I need to go with a SBS (dh e'd me last night and that is also his preference) and I really hated my duorider over the last couple of weeks. Not only are the plastic seat clips breaking, but it weighs a ton and has been hard to steer. I may get one more week out of it. My duo glider could have been repaired had dh not left it in the garage. It's now collecting mold. Lots of mold. And will have to go to the dump soon. He's apologized about that mistake. No amount of bleach will help. It's not a bad thing at the moment since both girls will kick whoever is sitting in the front and pull their hair. I knew something of this nature would happen after he left. It always does. I'm just glad it's a stroller this time and not the washing machine or hot water heater like it was the last two times he left.
