    Hi everyone
I am finally at the point that I am able to announce that I am pregnant....I've been thinking about how I will be able to take all 3 out with me by myself without buying a triple stroller.... was wondering what kind of stroller I can use since the baby will be born in Sept and the twins will be turning 2 a month later....
    any suggestions?

Use a double stroller and a wrap. Here is one... Here is another... They are so comfortable and easy. Much cheaper than buying a triple stroller too. I have a quad stroller and it works great. Good luck to you and congrats on the pregnancy!

Catherine and Andrew were almost 2.5 when Elizabeth was born. I put her in a sling and them in the double stroller for the first few months. Now I just have Elizabeth in the stroller and they walk beside it (they each hold one side).

Our girls will be 17 months when the new one arrives. I planned on doing what PP said and carrying the baby in a sling and the girls in a stroller....

When they're almost 2 I wouldn't buy a triple. I have a mountain buggy for the twins, and my oldest (2 1/2 when they were born) stands on a board. Goes really well and it's very common in Europe when children are 21 months + apart. Nobody would buy a double stroller for children 2 years apart.

Another option would be the Valco and get the toddler seat, put one twin in the toddler seat. However, with the toddler seat you can't connect the car seat anymore, but the seats recline completely. With a board you could still use a car seat for the baby as well and the twins can take turns.

I have a Lascal Kiddy Board.

Whether you need a triple stroller depends a lot on your twins - are they well-behaved, stay with you kids or wild, off running if given the chance? If they are the latter, I would definitely do a triple stroller. I wish I had bought a used one off of Craigslist when the twins were born. Shopping is so much more enjoyable when all 3 of my kids can be contained. I've seen plenty on Craigslist for a decent amount.

My DD is 3 1/2 and I went to the mall with her by myself yesterday and she sat in the umbrella stroller the whole time. It was so awesome. Normally the twins are in our double stroller and I spend the majority of the time yelling at my 3 1/2 year old to come back! I definitely think it would be easier on trips to the mall, zoo, ect. if I had a triple, plus my DD gets mad sometimes and wants in the stroller, but there's no room.

    I agree with the PP.

The twins and Mason are 20 months apart and when he was first born I would take C&C in the double stroller and have Mason in the sling.

As the weather gets nice I plan on going for a long walk everyday and so for us, the triple stroller is a must. In a few months Mason will be pushing 20lbs and will be to heavy to have in a sling for that long. And there's no way I'm NOT going to get out.

It is also so much nicer to get out to stores with the triple too but again, as the PP said it depends on your twins :)
