Hi! Just wondering if anyone has any creams to help prevent stretch marks? I'm now 10 weeks along and figure I should start thinking about applying this soon as a preventive measure! Please let me know thanks!

Honestly, I gave up. I did hear that e oil was very good. I never tried it. I turned over a new leaf and have proclaimed my stretch marks as a photo book of memories from each baby!

I have heard and beleive that you cannot prevent them. They are hereditary and are deeper than just putting on cream. If you are gonna get them you are gonna get them.
I didnt use anything and got none with my dd. I havent been using anything really and dont have any so far at 32 weeks.
I did buy tummy butter(palmers) a few weeks ago just cuz I thought it would make my tummy soft and all, but it made me break out in hives and I have been using Aveeno lotion to heal my rash. Now my rash is gone and I just use lotion here and there.
This lady at work gave me Burts Bees Belly Butter-its all natural so should not break me out, so I may use it.

Nothing has been proven to prevent them unfortunately. Either you are going to get them or you aren't. My dermatologist actually recommended vaseline though for when your stomach starts to get itchy and dry.

I had a reaction to the Mustela Cream when I used it with my first pregnancy. It made my tummy itch sooo bad. I have only a few small stretch marks that came right about delivery time with my son. Otherwise I've been lucky. Hopefully my tummy with stretch (double!) without creating stretch marks this time!

I agree with PP. I tried everything...I heard that genetics plays a role but my Dear Mommy had 5 kids...all natural...and has ZERO stretch marks and my sister didn't get any with her dd. Unfortunately my stomach looks like I was attacked by a tiger! I got some with my son and now have new ones with the twins.

Creams can help minimize the appearance...I use Avon Anew Stretch March Cream....it has lessened the redness but you either get em or your one of the lucky ones and don't.

GoodLuck with your pregnancy and congratulations!

Try as you may but I think you will get them if you're prone to them. I think moisturizing the skin is a good idea and does help relieve some of the itchiness and stuff so I'd say to do that.

I used everything and ended up with stretch marks...and get this, after 32 weeks...not a mark before then.

I haven't gotten a single new one this time around and I think it's because i was stretched to capacity with the boys.

Vitamin E is supposed to be helpful. I used a cocoa butter cream with vitamin e religiously during my first pregnancy and thought I made it through without and at 37 weeks, a week before I delivered my son, lo and behold the stretch marks appeared. The cream did help relieve the itching but ultimately I still ended up with stretch marks  .
