I know how you feel. My babies will be 11 months old later this month and my daughter has no teeth at all! My son does have 4 and I think 2 more are coming in but I am concerned about my daughter's lack of teeth. I keep thinking - what if she has no teeth ??? Unlikely I know, but until I see at least one, I'll still be worried. I don't think there is much you can do. I know my ped says after they are a year old she sometimes will send them for a dental x-ray to make sure the teeth are there.

Good luck and hope you see some choppers soon :)

I don't think it is weird. Mine were just getting there first teeth at 11 1/2 months. My mom told me I did not get my first one until after my 1st birthday!

Sometimes it jsut takes time!! Be patient-- they will come! :)

My pedi says he's seen kids up to 20 months just getting their first teeth. Mine didn't get theirs until almost 9 months. I don't think it's weird. That's good, I've heard the later they get them, the healthier they'll be.

My oldest was gumby until a few days before his first birthday and then got FOUR teeth in one night. These guys had two teeth by four months, so you can never predict. Just so you know, the earlier you get teeth the later they fall out!

Everyone of my sister's 3 kids did not get teeth until they were a year old. She said they all gummed their food for so long!? :p

Mine got them pretty much all at once after they turned one year old.

Teething is hereditary ask your mum and MIL if they remember when you and dh got their teeth. You'll probably find out you one or both of you were late teethers.

I was concerned too. They just got their two bottom teeth last week and will be 11 months this week. I am no longer anxious for any more teeth. These poor babies have been so cranky and in pain. I was much happier with my toothless happy babies! The teeth will come.

My boys wre about 13 months when they got their first teeth - and then they got a whole mess at once. I was almost 2 when I got my first tooth - I was so late getting them my dentist did x0rays to make sure I really had teeth!
Just think of it this way, the later they get the less time they have to get cavities!

Definitely not unusual. Mine didn't get any until around 13 months.

By 15 to 18 months of age, about a dozen primary teeth make up the baby's smile.
All 20 baby teeth should be showing by 2-1/2 years of age.

That genetics thing- right..... <_< I was born with 4 teeth. My oldest didn't get his in till he was 13 mo+. With the twins, at 7 months, you can see the white tops of the teeth, but they haven't come all the way up yet. It's driving me crazy. We're starting teething crackers, just to try and get them to pop up. Doubt it will work, but my oldest twin doesn't like any of the teethers we've gotten.

My older two didn't get them until they were about a year old. It's not strange or unusual! I actually liked it because once they have teeth, they look so much older. That's me anyway and I know I am weird!

Mine just started to get teeth, and once it started, they are getting them everywhere lol! I wouldn't be worried, Ive heard a lot of people who didnt get them till a year or a little after. I got mine at 3 months, so it was weird to me the girls didnt get theres till after 9 months.

This is really funny. Yesterday I posted this and we had no teeth. I am NOT lying when I tell you that last night BOTH girls popped thier bottom two teeth out! I was at work and my DH had a horrible time with them crying and being cranky. When I got them up this morning they had teeth!! How weird is that?! They arn't completely thru but you can definatly see the teeth. :D
