We are still on a staggered schedule for bottles and meals so it's hard to get out much because we seem to have a bottle or meal constantly. At what point did you combine bottles/sippies with meals? It will be so much easier to run around when I can combine everything into three events instead of seven!!!

I don't remember exactly when it happened but I would say it happened gradually after 12 months...we dropped bottles at 15 months and the kids were definitely doing 3 meals a day with 2 snacks (if needed) by then. At 15 months they got milk with breakfast and milk before bed.

We dropped bottles at 11 months and after that we started giving a sippy of cow's milk with meals. It gets easier!

At one year we went cold turkey onto sippies, and gradually transitioned to cow's milk. At that time we started giving them their sippies along with their meals (3 per day) and snacks (2 per day). This was soooo much easier than staggering bottles/breastfeeding for me, and was a huge relief! After a few months we stopped doing milk with snacks, and are now just giving milk at mealtimes.

    Hope this helps!

For about a month, we have done 3 bottles a day--with breakfast, with PM snack, and bedtime. I'm going to try to change the first two to sippies of milk and let them have a bedtime bottle until they are transitioned during the day.

    I HATE bottles!

We switched cold turkey to sippies just after a year and that's when we started giving them with meals. At the time I was still bf'ing in the mornings, so I would feed them in the morning the bring them down for breakfast and all the rest of the meals and snacks they got a sippy. By 15 months we were done with bf'ing, so I just give them a sippy of milk in the morning, one at lunch, one at dinner and in between they get water.

I am definitely no pro at feeding since my boys barely eat anything except milk, but for the last week since we switched to sippies they've only been getting 3 sippies a day, each with an attempt of a meal. One with breakfast, one with lunch, and one with dinner. Since we are struggling on getting them to eat anything more than milk they still get snacks through out the entire day

It was also around 1 yr that we did the transition to milk with meals too, we were totally off bottles by 14 months of age. :)

Oh good, so not much longer! Thanks, girls. Mine drink water from Advent sippies everyday but I still give them BM/formula in a bottle since they are so good at holding them on their own now.

I'm glad all these crazy feeding schedules will be coming to end soon! I plan to introduce cow milk in sippies only so we can finish bottles along with formula.
