My mother was watching the girls yesterday morning and she fed them mixedberry yogurt (yo baby yogurt). It has strawberries and rasberries in it. [IMG] Do I continue to make sure there isn't an allery or do I stop. The haven't had a allergy to anything, and there isn't a family history of food allergies. What should I do?

I would just watch them today and see how they are... I remember giving my oldest some strawberry mixed baby food at 8 months and he was ok. If they are fine today (no diahara, no vomiting, no skin breakouts), I would definitely give it to them again.

I think yogurt will be ok, but just keep an eye on them! My DD had a reaction to strawberries in the form of a diaper rash that spread to her "girlie parts" so just be watching for everything. They only react now if they have TOO much.

Try blueberries, they might be safe at this point....

mine have had that yogurt. I have also given fresh strawberries. No reactions yet. It's not that they can't have it...it's just that it could be higly allergic in a little one. But if you don't see a reaction, than it's probably going to be fine.

I think it's kinda funny that so many baby food products (yo baby yogurt, the dried fruits, babyfood) is made with strawberries, mixed berries, pinapple. All the things that little ones arent supposed to have. What gives with that? [IMG] They are just trying to stress us new mom's out even more! [IMG][IMG]

Interesting - I figured that if Gerber made a Stage 2 food for it that they could have it!

I bought the big bulk box of food from Sam's and it has Apple/Strawberry/Banana in it. I didn't think anything about it and they love it. I'll take that as no reaction and keep feeding!

I was going to ask about this. Gerber Stage 2 has stawberry in it and I thought it was ok? Are we not suppose to give that to them?
