Strange sensation in groin (possible TMI)

Today I have felt very odd sensations in my pelvic/groin region. I feel like someone kicked me in the crotch--on the outside. It effects the way I feel when I get up (am on bed rest so mostly laying down all day) and makes me walk funny when I do stand. It feels worse when my bladder gets full, then when I go there is somewhat lessening of pressure. I don't remember feeling this with my DD. Is this a result of bed rest or maybe the babies dropping a bit? Anyone else ever experience this?

 

i was feeling this strange twinge kinda feelings now and then towards the end. i wasnt on bedrest, so if it was the same thing you are feeling i would say its not due to bedrest. my water broke at 35.1 and i went into the hospital and realized that these twinges of pain in the groin were actually contractions. how far are you? maybe you should bring it up at your next appt. good luck.

 

You said on the outside so that makes me think spd. It manifests in so many different fashions. But it would still be a good idea to mention to your doc. If you're concerned go to LDR that's what they are there for. :hug: Can't wait to have our bodies back eh?! LOL! So many weird side effects! Good luck momma!!!

 

My Twin A sat so low in my pelvis that everytime he kicked it felt like he was kicking out there. I almost went to into L&D a few times because of it but sucked it up and waited to see my doctor. I only trust my doctor though as he has been my ob/gyn for 6 years now. My doctor told me it was nothing just the position of the baby. He has since moved up a little bit so I no longer get that sensation. I would go in and get checked though if you are worried about it!

 

OMG I had this from about week 24 till I delivered at week 38! Horrible pain, just like you said, being kicked and suffering a huge bruise is the only way to describe it. So sorry you are dealing wit this! It hurts, but does go away at least about a week or so after you deliver! Hang in there mama!

 

I don't know what it is, but I have this too! It's also worse at night when I get up to pee. I am going to ask my OB about it on Friday....it hasn't worried me too much because it is clearly a different feeling than the BH contractions I've had.

 

I'm so glad someone else has had this sensation as well - I really feel like a foot is going to come out of my you-know-what at any moment. Gross feeling.

 

I have the same issue.
Baby "A" is breach and jumping up and down.....it feels like he is going to pop out anytime.....my whole area feels like a worn/sore muscle.
