I can't believe how much cheaper the Target and Wal-Mart brands are. Does anyone use them instead of the Similac or Enfamil?

I've used Target from day 1 and have been really happy. I bought a large amount of value cans (1 1/2 time the regular size) for less than $10 on clearance!!! It saves a lot of money and my twins are doing well on it. My ped said it's all the same, all approved, so unless there are medical issues, it's definitely worth the try.

I use Member's Mark (Sam's Club brand) and it has all the same nutrition as Enfamil. I get a 3lb 3.4 oz can for less than $20...I went from almost $400 per month in formula to around $150-175 and have had no problems.

We use the Target brand and it's fantastic. I save over $10 buying it instead of the Enfamil.

My girls are breastfed but we are starting the weaning process. I use the Costco brand formula in their sippy cups and cereal. It is way cheaper.

We used Walmart brand with the twins. With Liam, we have switched to the BJ's Brand. We get a can twice the size of the other for $20!

We use Parent's Choice (Wal-Mart). I used the Enfamil Gentlease for about a month, but decided to switch them over due to the price difference. We haven't seen any differences between the two and it is MUCH cheaper.

We use Wal-greens brand..It's a bigger can and it's only $19 instead of the enfamil which is a smaller can and goes for $25..Also the pedi said it's all the same.

We use the Costco brand of formula (Kirkland) after trying Enfamil first and we can get 2 cans cheaper than the price of the 1 can of Enfamil. It has all the same stuff as the Enfamil with DHA and ARA. The pedi said it was good stuff.

We use the Members Mark and the Parents choice brands from Sams/Walmart. I have not had any problems and it is so much cheaper, I can get 2 cans of these versus 1 can of Enfamil. At first I was thinking that I was going "cheap" on my twins and they wouldnt get the same nutrition as my older kids, but its the same stuff and just a different name.

My guys were on the Enfamil AR which is 25 bucks for ONE CAN! I have recently switched to the Costco Brand. I can get TWO cans for 20 bucks! My guys are doing well. The only thing is that the AR was thicker for reflux, so we have had some spit ups, but it is OK and they are tolerating it well.

Mine were on Goodstart Soy and at six months I switched them to Members Mark (Sams Club) soy formula. It cut the cost of formula in half and they have done fine on it.

I'm in Canada and I just started introducing President's Choice (Loblaws) Organics formula. Right now I'm just using one scoop of it, and the rest Enfamil (this is how I make changes in formula - gradually). I love the idea of using an organic formula, but the cost can be really high - $45 a can!! The PC Organics is just $21 a can, which is actually a bit less than I pay for Enfamil.

Yep go for the generic. My pedi said it's all the same. We have our boy on the Sam's Club Soy Formula. Now, we do have our daughter on the Nestle Good Start because of stomach issues she had during the first few months and she seems to have done very well on the Good Start. However, now that she is 6 months old, I am thinking of weaning her off that 24 dollar a can stuff and switch her to the Sam's club. At $20 for a huge can, it can save you lots of money.
