I'm sorry to hear that! :( Is this your first pregnancy? Your body is just stretching to accomodate two babies I'm sure. From what I've heard from other ladies (and from my experience) there seems to be a growth spurt around 20 weeks. This is my second pregnancy, and I gained 70 lbs with my first, so my tummy is still not tight yet (for the most part). I hope you start to feel better. Drink plenty of water, as this helps you feel better in general. I'm sorry I don't have much advice for you. Maybe one of the other ladies can be more help.

I am so sorry, I can totally recall what you are feeling. For me that feeling came and went throughout the third trimester of both pregnancies. Good Luck,

This is my second pregnancy (tho its been almost 3 1/2yrs since last baby delivered). Weight gain has been a problem, so far only 10lbs (which has dr's concerned) but its hard cause I eat and drink decent enough but stomach and back always seem to hurt. I love water or rather crystal light =D seems like I am always more thirsty than hungry. A growth spurt makes sense, this past week I have grown around my stomach 1 inch! i'm suprised my skin is still holding up! Thanks for your help! Just seems like i am in a constant oweee state whether it is my back hurting or my tummy. I sure hope it gets better!

Well, all I can reccommend is lots of water and maybe lots of lotions. This may help a little with the elasticity of your skin (if that is even the tightness you are feeling, rather than something internal). This is what I have heard anyways. I hope your weight gain gets better too. Has your doc talked to you about protein shakes? I have heard that these are great for the babies and you too! Also, I would pay close attention to the back pain (which I'm sure you are already! kinda hard to ignore!). With my first pregnancy, I was having horrible back pain that my doc wasn't worried about, but it was actually PTL. I was only 32 weeks when I went into labor the first time, but I had no idea that was what was happening until I got to the hospital and I was 2 cm dialated! Thank goodness they were able to stop it! Sorry about my tendency to ramble there! I hope things will ease up for you soon! I'm sure they will. Take care! :hug99:
