The Pepto for sale here in Mexico says explicitly not to take during pregnancy. If Tums doesn't help at all, call your dr. It could be something else. Did you notice any trigger food? I had a pregnancy induced gull bladder problem and which made it impossible to digest fats. I was pretty terrible until it was diagnoised.

Pepto has aspirin in it, so it's a no-no during pregnancy (I know some people are on aspirin for medical reasons, but for those of us lucky enough not to be. . .)

P.S. -- Don't give it to your kids either, unless you get the children's pepto with no aspirin

my doc gave me the okay for zantac. I'm also on a prescription version of prilosec, which you can get OTC. See if your doc will okay it...

I take zantac (otc). I am normally on a prescription for prilosec, but my ob won't let me take that during pregnancy.
