I came home from work yesterday and went straight to bed. I woke up cramping and couldn't tell if they were bh or just stomach cramping. Ended up sick with diareah and couldn't eat anything. I called ob dept at hospital and they told me to drink and if I got worse come in. I didn't get worse, but I am still feeling stomach cramps. I called ob this morning and they are bringing me in this afternoon. I feel miserable. I am afraid to eat, but I am trying to eat some toast, cause I am starving... nothing left in there after yesterday. I don't know what else I should try. Any suggestions?

Try drinking some Gatorade -- that will at least give you some electrolytes. Hope you feel better soon!

no vomiting, but there are times where I have wondered if I was going to keep it all down. So far, no problems with the toast. This really stinks!

That's no fun. I can relate. I started with a really bad sore throat last night and bad post nasal drip. It was making me sick to my stomach and I ended up throwing up twice during the night. I'm feeling a little better today. I just had some toast myself and I'm going to try some decaf tea. I agree with the advice to drink Gatorade. That's what I've been doing. You want to stay hydrated. I hope you feel better soon.

So sorry you are feeling that way. Yuck! I'm glad the toast is working for you.

You could also try yogurt. That might help with whatever is in there making you sick. I'm sorry for you. Hope you get better soon.

Sprite/ginger ale always seems to help me when I have a stomach bug. I am so sorry you feel bad. I hope you get better soon.

I think checking into the hospital was the best thing you could do. . . that way you can truly rest, let someone else take care of you for a bit, and having someone watching over you and your little babies in utero would help to give you a peace of mind.

I hope you feel like a new woman ASAP!

Sorry you are not feeling well. I can sympathize. Take care of yourself. Drinking gatorade, but not too much, and toast are good. Try to drink some boost, the babies need some nutrients, if you are up to it. Hope you feel better soon.
