I was hoping you had ideas for stocking stuffers for my 16 month olds. I have found a few little cars for my DS, but I am having a hard time for my DD. I wouldn't normally worry about it, but my older DD is getting old enough and is always looking out for "her babies". Any suggestions would be great.

    TIA

For my newly 17mo twinkies Santa is stuffing their stockings with a new Elmo sippy cup, a little Beanie Abby Cadaby and Cookie Monster, I'm spliting up a tube of Weeble Christmas People/reindeer I found in Target, a new bath toy each, a Christmas set of toddler silverware--again Target, one is getting Leap's Letter Factory DVD the other is getting We Are the Laurie Berknar Band DVD, and finally, they are each getting a small box of animal crackers (the ones with the shoe string handle) :)

For my daughter, Rianna. I brought 2 DVDs collections such as Disney Barbie Princess and Alice Wonderland. Rianna got 6 tooth and 3rd tooth cut from bottom. So, I got her a new toddler toothbrush/paste flouride-free. At Target at the dollar section they were selling those little blankets. You could also do "My First Doll" take out the box and put it in your stocking if it fit? I also filled in goldfish/graham crackers/corn puffs (individually wrapped). You can only do so much for stocking stuffers for 12 to 18 months old.

    Happy Holidays!

I probably went a little crazy with the stockings this year, but they're my favorite part! Mine are a little older (20 mos), so it might not all work:

    toothbrush
    stuffed animal
    small book
    punching balls
    bath foam
    bath markers
    goldfish box
    box of raisins
    oranges
    small thing of mini M&M's
    slinky
    finger paints
    stickers
    socks
    animal crackers
    glow sticks
    noise makers (harmonica, eggs, etc)
    pacifiers
    toy bottle for baby dolls
trial size lotion for dd (she loves lotion)

I don't think it's all going to fit in the stockings!! :) Another tradition that we had when I was a kid & probably won't start till next year, but every year my dad wrote a little special letter to each kid.....we loved it.

santa leaves the stockings in the beds at my house so i have to be careful what goes in it. i too went with the christmas weebles people and i found 6inch stuffed elmo and cookie monster. we always do an orange but i guess the boys will be under the tree so they don't eat the whole thing, skin and all. i also havesome little tykes trucks and cars, thats about it.

    Merry Christmas!
