My babies have always been "happy" spitters as their pedi called it. No reflux, no issues with weight gain, etc. They just spit up. I could deal with the breastmilk spit-up. I could even deal with the formula spit-up when we started supplementing. I was grossed out by the yogurt spit-up - but they only get yogurt 1xday - so that nasty smell could be washed away right after breakfast.

But now they are getting whole milk mixed with formula - and the whole milk spit-up is just nasty!!

Did anyone else have babies still spitting up at 12 months? When did they finally stop?

DH and i were just saying that over the past few weeks they really stopped spitting up after every feeding (bottle or solids) now I would say the spit up maybe 1x out of 4 bottle and 3 meals per day. otherwise they just burp with no spit-up...

We had spit-up until 18 months...and an occasional urp up to age 2 1/2. But she has/had severe reflux and is medicated for it (still).

My kids are/were all reflux babies, too. However, they all stopped spitting for the most part around 10ish months. There was/is the occassional spit up burp, but they seemed to always be able to catch it and swallow it after that :pardon:
