Still only 1-1.5cm:(

Went in today for another check b/c the office is closed till Monday b/c of the holiday. Friday I was a 1.5 today the Dr. Said 1-1.5 I was really hoping he would be here after Christmas but its not looking that way.

Oh well I know he needs to cook longer but I am so excited to meet him.

I asked the Dr. about ways I could try to get him to come on my own and he said SEX.. So..... my mom has both boys tonight so I may just try what he said..LMAO... My luck the kid would be born on Christmas day)

 

No baby until after Dec. 29! We have a date for CEC!

You crack me up!!! You never know! I was SO disappointed at my 38 week check with Olivia to find out I was only 1 cm...I was so anxious for her to arrive. Well, wouldn't you know it, 4 days later, my water broke! Never even made it to the next appt! Goodluck with DTD tonight...I hope it works out for you!

 

You're not even 37 weeks, right? I hate to say this, but you could easily go another 3-4 weeks. With all three single babies I spent a month at 3cm! And all were past due. And I walked up a storm, climbed stairs, had sex, etc. Those babies come when they want to! Have fun tonight, though!!!

Oh I know I couls go well past my due date.. well not really I can be induced at 39 weeks if I want but I dont know how I feel about induction.

I'm just in so much pain when I walk or sleep or move And the morning sickness is just as bad as it was in the first trimester. Lost 25 lbs total and only gained back 15 or so of it. In the last 2 weeks I lost another 5lbs. My body just HATES being preggers but in the end its so worth it.

I'll stop complaining about him not being here now

Oh, I'm so sorry! The nausea would probably put me over the edge. I luckly only have it for a few weeks past 1st trimester. I think avoiding being induced is the way to go (having done it both ways), but being sick like that might make me throw caution to the wind! I sure hope you find some relief quickly and that you have your baby as soon as it's safe and healthy to do so!!!

 

I know you are in pain & having a miserable pregnancy. :hug: I know I was anxious to meet my <little> guy. I knew that after 38 weeks he would probably be fine because my twins were big & healthy when they were born. I did start walking more, eating spicy food and doing a steep incline on the treadmill, but he came on his own, the day after his due date. I know you want to meet him, but hang in there...

 

AT my 38 week appt I wasnt even dialated, nothing was changing. I was hoping she ( didnt know she was a girl yet) would come on her own but she didnt. I know how uncomfortable you are but you still got a few weeks. Hang in there and enjoy your last christmas with only 2 children!

 

I'm only at a 1 also and feeling somewhat disappointed. I know it's hard to predict, though.

Why the sad face next to 1-1.5 cm?! Rejoice with this information!!! Your body is working and preparing for the birth of your baby. I was a BIG FAT ZERO at 39 weeks, not effaced either and the baby was super high. I was discouraged. After a hard hour-long walk, I digested the information and accepted that I had to be patient.

I know it is absolutely challenging raising twins and being so pregnant at the end. You are NEARLY there! Patience is challenging and sometimes you need it forced down one's throat Patience comes with its own rewards, a baby that comes on his/her time, ready and healthy! I hope you have an uneventful and healthy birth of your baby!
