Still Hanging in Here!

Hi, First I want to thank all of you who wished me well.(I really needed those prayers & good vibes). My Dr.'s plane landed yesterday at 5 p.m. and I will be picking my husband up in 2 hrs.(He was working 6 states away). I ended up in the Triage again after I posted the last post.Contractions started again at 2 a.m. I said that I would go in by noon if they did not subside...well I hung in there until 5 p.m. When I went there they hooked me to the monitor...babies were fine my B.p. was fine they checked for dialation...I still had not dialated any.Contractions were still 2-3 min. apart.They gave me Vistaril & sent me home. Today I see my specialist & according to what is going on with me we will take it from there. I am happy and have peace that everyone is in position.My mother is here,husband,and Dr. The 3 that I wanted here.I just don't want to deliver on Fri-Sat-or Sun. because I do not like the traditional names that is appointed for my boys to have if they are born on those days.But I have a feeling that-that too will fall into place. I tell you I fought like Jacob fought that angel to bless him...and I will not let go until I have it how I want it! Hopefully the next time that you hear from me...it will be with The Birth Stories! My husband is Ghanian and it is their tradition for the grandfather to give them their tribal names...and in their culture there is a name according to the day that they are born on.

 

I was going to ask the same thing.

I know what you mean about the name thing, ours is a calander though so i had a select few days around dd that I would deliver. Kinda amazing tha we think we have control! So I hope you go in tonight or tommorow so you ge it over before the weekend!
